I love Cognito Forms. But I don’t even see anywhere within my WordPress admin area to create/view/manage forms. Is it tied to Gutenberg blocks? Cuz Gutenberg is the plague and I avoid that. Would be nice if it showed up in other builders (i.e. Beaver Builder.)

I have a Cognito Forms account. I have a WordPress website I would like to embed my forms onto. So I install this plugin, activate it, and from the Classic Editor I click on the Cognito Forms gear icon, and… nothing. Only a small, empty window opens.
EDIT: Manually adding the seamless Publish Code snippet worked fine, whereas this plugin did not. You keep your 1-star.

The range of options and facilities offered by Cognito Forms is outstanding; powerful forms based on conditional logic, good design options and payment taking all make for a presuasive package. Support is speedy and helpful.
Thank you!

I am really wondering why this plugin is not downloaded that much. It is really a very powerfull and full featured plug. Even in the free version you can create wonderful forms. It is very simple to create them and there are a lot of parameters you can play with.
And no, I am not working for this company and no I don’t get paid for this review ??
I hope you guys keep up the good work with this amazing plugin!

Being considering switching to Cognito forms for all our [Moderated: Link redacted] Orlando SEO lead pages. Currently we use calendly, but it has decreased our conversion rate. I am a little hesitant now after reading the reviews, but will give it a shot.

Do not expect award-winning customer service from Cognito. Expect it to be slow and repetitive with no desire to help you or find a solution. Possibly the worst service ever from a SaaS product.

First, the reading challenged chook clearly never used the plugin. SMH
I used Cognito Forms before looking at it as a plugin. As a non-programer, I was able to do things with them that I have not seen any other form creator do with the ease that they have at a great price.
I can take CC payments from my site without using some complicated shopping cart.
I never played with CSS to do more formating but have seen some examples that others have done and I will be having my developer make some changes to add some extra spice.

While I had to stop with other plugins because of the allowed maximum entries, with Cognito I could make my form exactly as desired. And so much more user friendly than the other complicated form plugins. And this with the FREE plugin.
Also the support forum is good. It is strange the WordPress did not show Cognito while searching for form plugins; I found this through Google when – frustrated with other plugins – I looked for ‘WordPress Form Plugin Limitless Entries’.
So, I spread the word: thanks for this great tool!

It does exactly what says: creates great responsive forms, for free!

The description at time of writing “Create responsive contact forms, order forms, registration forms and more. For free and without ever leaving WordPress. ”
The reality – You need to Create An Account with them on There Site – That isn’t “without ever leaving WordPress”!
Uninstalled this plugin and now going to try Caldera Forms.

Great job on Cognito. There’s a million forms and tools out there but, Cognito answers all my needs quickly and painlessly. They have a great interface, and everything can be tweaked on my site via css. I can put the forms in any site I have even email links to the form itself.
Worth every cent because that’s all it costs – 1 cent per dollar in my transactions. Free is never free as I spend way too much time with other ecommerce and payment forms and it costs me hours and hours and too much anxiety.
Cognito is WELL worth the price – only paid if I make sales btw – and the effort seeing how I’ve been through a ton of ecommerce sites and tools for over a decade, has been significantly pleasant. (When have you heard ‘pleasant’ and ‘ecommerce’ in the same sentence last?)
Thanks!

I’ve been testing various forms plugins and this one stands out as:
1) extremely easy to set (super intuitive – incredibly innovative approach to form building)
2) extremely quick to set (with easy preview every step of the way)
3) the best good looking of all free ones available
4) it’s totally free and has surprisingly lot of options (even more after closer look)
What it still misses?
– Language versions for some countries but if someone is willing to spend approximately 15-20 minutes of their time, can submit a ticket to translate the plugin, so it’s not that big problem. Besides, many of options can be adjusted to own language (although one has to dig deeper) so only few things stays in English, so in the end even without a translation Cognito forms plugin works great!
Overall it’s amazingly good plugin that beats many other competitors. For example, ninja forms has more options and extensions but turned out to be heavy (very slow form building process) and filled with bugs that made the process even more painful. Other plugins lacked of field numbers in free version, looked bad, had no mail processing or weren’t saving responses in friendly manner. Besides, they were all similar in the way the forms were build and the process was long. Cognito forms are SO DIFFERENT, SO INNOVATIVE AND SO INTUITIVE that it’s simply AMAZING!
And the last bonus, great support on wordpress pages (see answers to my previous version of this review).

This plugin makes easy work of creating web forms.
The submissions of those forms can be sent to a list in SharePoint, emailed, saved to excel, or a few other options.
Their FAQ’s are very helpful, and when I ran into trouble their support team was johnny on the spot.
I use this plugin for all 4 sites I manage.
They offer other custom SharePoint and various programming services as well, if interested.

This is the fourth “free” form builder I’ve tried in two days! It’s the only one that is actually FREE. There is nothing worse than going through the trouble of installing, learning and using a plug-in only to get to the point where you have to pay to do one little crucial step.
None of that with this baby! The forms it makes are simple, but there’s no janky formatting, no “oops- you need the premium version to actually have a useful number of fields” or any of that jazz! You can personalize a few little things (there are a few font choices, background color or transparency, font color, etc.) and you’re good to go with your form in no time!
I only deducted a star because I couldn’t actually log into the wordpress plugin (just kept looping me back to the login page over and over though my login info was correct). But I was able to create my form pretty effortlessly through the Cognito website and then just copy/paste the code they provided. Easy!

The support team is very helpful and friendly. I love how easy it was to set up side by side text fields! I would definitely pay if there were add-ons.

This appeared to be a useful plug-in tool. Signup was easy. I created and saved a form in almost no time. It was exactly what I had been looking for – I spent the last 3 weeks looking for a plug-in like this! After signing in, I was reminded to verify my email address. So, I looked in my email and there was nothing. I then requested a second verification email and did not receive that. So, I figured that I must have signed up with an email address that for some reason was incorrect. Then I created a different account carefully using an alternate email address. I got the same problems as before. Well, last night was Sunday night so I waited until Monday morning and still nothing. I sent an email to the Cognito team and have received no response, yet. I am very disappointed with this “product”.

Other than being easy to use and boasting a nice UI, this form-builder outperforms others in more ways than I can count!
I’m just going to outline a couple of the things I’ve always wanted to be able to do with a form builder but not been able to, that Cognito Forms makes easy.
and I don’t want them to fill out a seperate form for each attendee. With Cognito forms, I can create a group of fields, call it “Attendee Info”, and the user can add as many attendees as necessary. As a bonus, I can create calculation fields that count the number of each field present and then do whatever kind of calculation I need!
Something to keep in mind, documentation for performing calculations is currently limited, but according to the developer, will be fleshed out:
Cognito Forms calculations are very sophisticated, which is one of the reasons why we have not already released the documentation. However, for your task, any normal mathematical expressions will work fine, such as =A*5 + B*2, where A and B are the names of fields on your form. The statement completion will help you out with field names, but generally they are just the labels of the fields without spaces or special characters.
Lastly, our calculations are based on an open source parser created by Microsoft in 2008 called Dynamic Linq. If you need more help in the short term and are technically minded, check out Scott Guthrie’s post, download the sample zip and read the full documentation under LinqSamples\DynamicQuery. After reading this documentation you will see why we are taking our time creating documentation that is more approachable for less technical audiences.
What help there is can be found on their support site Understanding-Calculations
There is a support form, so if you get stuck you can probably get your answer that way.
Finally, I want to say that I am in no way affiliated with Cognito Forms. I’m just an impressed WordPress user wondering why this plugin is free!
