I’ve been using a lot of crypto plugins (BitPay, CoinPayments, CryptoWoo and etc.) and I can really say that this is the best one yet. Simple registration, simple integration, tool is really easy to use and has a lot of functionalities (invoice customization, multiple payout options, currency options)
Would reccommend everyone who wants to accept cryptocurrency payments!

About a couple of months ago we’ve added CoinGateit as a payment solution. The integration was quite easy, and we’re very happy to see more and more users starting to pay with CoinGate’s solution.
The main reasons we’ve decided to add CoinGate to our payment solutions on our website were high demand from our clients; payment versatility and flexibility (70+ crypto currencies to pay with, and the ability to choose our favorite settlement currency); low costs; fast & easy integration.
So far CoinGate’s solution has exceeded our expectations, and the service has been great (both pre- and post-integration).

Although there are a lot of similar services that allows accepting crypto, I specifically like Coingate the most.
Not only it charges only 1% fees, but by using Coingate your shoppers dont need to register an account to pay the invoice (unlike on some other services)
Additionally, Coingate allows to accept a lot of cryptocurencies, which is a great way for small businesses to be attractive for a lot of crypto users.
Finally, the integration using WordPress plugin was smooth, although needed to follow the instructions for some steps.
Overall, I’m happy with this service.

We are using this plugin for more than a year and process a large number of payments.
Overall works well but not to perfection. For example, SOMETIMES an order status is updated to “paid” correctly, but after 1 or 2 hours the order status changes to “canceled” (no idea why because the payment was already received). So the client will contact me screaming asking why we took the money and canceled the order… then I have to explain and check manually.
Coingate should pay more attention to this plugin and update it more often.

I been trying to get my account verified since July 2019. Its march 2021 now.
Imagine how long this has took me to finally had it and leave a bad review. To get verified I had to sent in all my personal details, I did. Then they refused it since its all in dutch. I’m a dutch freelancer, not an internation multi milion dollar business.
It cost me a lot of money to request all the official documents translated to english. Then still no verification. They keep making excuses not to verify. While I keep responding right away to their request. They take weeks sometimes months to reply.
To the point today, I still cant refund my balance, I cant accept bitcoin anymore, And I lost all my BTC that are in my coingate account.

I used the Coingate plugin to accept bitcoin for the last years and it worked with little issues but now I can not withdraw my bitcoin, it is stuck in coingate and they do not reply with any update to my ticket opened about the issue in December 2020 and I provided all documents they asked. They said they are still checking documents but it should not take more than 2 months to check, my bitcoin is still stuck and caused me loss. I saw other coingate plugin users reported this similar issue and this plugin should probably be suspended from WordPress for causing harm and loss to users. For now removed the Coingate plugin due to the issue, and no new plugin updates for the last 2 years, I worry they are planning to exit scam with my thousands of dollars of bitcoin. Please someone at Coingate reply and either ask for more documents if you need or approve my withdraw request, thank you.

This page says you can accept bitcoin for your business and get paid in US dollars, but this is not true.
If you live in, or have even been a US citizen, you can not use Coingate

DON’T EVER USE THIS PLUGIN, MY BITCOIN TRAPPED ON MY COINGATE ACCOUNT.
I used this plugin for my site, the API was awesome and I got 0.005 BTC. Now I’m no longer be able to use the pulgin, coingate ask to verify my ID with tons of documents I don’t have. Also, the documents should written in english.
DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLUGIN!!!

The plugin is very comprehensive and easy to work with with seamless integration of WooCommerce and CoinGate. Additionally, the code is very neatly written and easy to understand the flow.
The services and customer support provided by the CoinGate team was exceptionally well. They did not left any stone unturned to help integrate their plugin with the store.

After using another gateway which I didn’t like at all (goURL) I came across this one. Opened an account, set up the plugin, and voilà!, everything works well, including the payout to your Bitcoin wallet.

Went through installing this plugin and signing up on the website for the API info. As soon as it gave me the API information I find out I am unable to accept payments because of US regulations. It would have been nice to mention that on the plugin description or even the signup when you are looking at the merchant tools. Waste of time for US based businesses wanting to accept Altcoins.
