Currently when I have Coming Soon activated for a specific product it will display it on a product list page, but it doesn’t allow the customer to click through to the specific product page to read more about it. Is there a way to allow for active click through?

Also I wanted to allow for Pre-Ordering of the product so I’m also using the Pre-Order WooCommerce plugin in conjunction with it. Thanks!

I’m using the Divi theme, and the badge shows in the shop but not on the actual product page.

I have created the label and checked the check coming soon in the product “Colombia, Las Acacias – Cenicafe 1 Natural” but nothing is visible. not visible in loop or single product. I do not see where the problem is, can you help me?

Could you send the php files to some email so they can see where the error is?

Hi, @garlicandwaters… not, the code must be inside the products loop:

do_action( ‘woocommerce_shop_loop_item_title’ );

…and in the single product template:

do_action( ‘woocommerce_after_main_content’ );

(please, forget woocommerce_before_template_part / woocommerce_after_template_part, my mistake)

…please, take a look into the woocommerce templates:

wp-content\plugins\woocommerce\templates\content-product.php
wp-content\plugins\woocommerce\templates\single-product.php

…maybe this templates are overrided in your theme, take a look into your theme or child theme folder, check a /woocommerce folder, same file names override WC default templates, if this is the case, check if it call the actions in the same way as WC does

Today I updated my site because my bookkeeping plugin didnt work without php 7.4.
After changing the php version from 7.3 to 7.4 I had some problems at my site and deactivated all plugins and activated them 1 by 1. All seemed fine.
But now I needed to check 1 more product as ‘coming soon’ and it does not work.
Do you maybe heard this before? Is there a (simple) solution?
Because now I needed to go back tot php 7.3 to check it and then back to php 7.4.
Not really a good workable situation.

I enabled “Show Coming Soon badge” at the product.
In my childtheme‘s theme folder I copied the files as you suggested:
wp-content/themes/my-theme/woocommerce/content-product.php
wp-content/themes/my-theme/woocommerce/single-product.php

I find there:

“For single product: do_action( ‘woocommerce_after_main_content’ );
For product loop: do_action( ‘woocommerce_shop_loop_item_title’ );”

any suggestion?

But the Feature images of the products not showing on the product page of the label is activated.

Can you please advise? Test Product link above – the label is customer text premium in blue.

I noticed that on shop page “Coming soon” badge is not shown if the product has not only a Featured image but at least one image in the product image gallery.

Hi, the badge wasn’t showing when I was using your plugin, using the Storeship theme, after some digging I found out the solution – I just needed to change the z-index:

.coming_soon_text{
z-index: 1;
}

The badge is showing as expected now. I’d suggest adding this snippet to your code, I’m sure some other themes have issues with it too.

the bagdet doesn’t show up on the checked coming soon products.
Just for a fraction of a second, when the page was loading the first time after the setting, I saw the coming soon badget…
I have 0 stock on each product with an out of stock badge on… I tried to put 1 unit the product stock and checked the CS badge but nothing.
Let me know.

I use two coming soon plugins (neither does exactly what I need) so I am not sure if this is yours but as soon as I updated to 1.04 I have a product loop at the bottom of my page for this store: https://bysara.my/shop/khadeeja-abaya/grey/ which is not mine. If this is you did you leave some debug stuff on or what?

It is not working on category page, only works on single product page, why?

When I create a new product and save it in draft mode the ” Show Coming Soon badge” is checked. But no matter what state the product set to after that I cannot uncheck it as it becomes re-checked after updating or publishing…

This makes it impossible to add product to our store while your plugin is active. ??

This plug in works with the shop pages but not on custom views of the shop by category

I keep trying to uncheck the ‘coming soon’ checkbox, but it always goes back to checked after updating the product.

the checked box become on unchecked after I reload updat the page.

On the screen where you enable the badge on a product it doesn’t seem to have a way to specify which badge to activate for that product.

Unless I’m missing how to enable this I think it would be a great feature to add.

Also the default coming soon red ribbon badge is perfect. I would be great if that particular badge was available to display in top right corner, bottom right and bottom left in addition to the default top left position.

I know you can add a custom image but I don’t have the image template to modify.

Hi, the plugin looks great, but I’m not seeing that it prevents the purchase of an item. Are there plans to disable adding to cart if an item is set to “Coming Soon”? Thanks.
