Please switch to plugin “Comment Blacklist Updater”: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/comment-blacklist-updater/
It works fine!
]]>In germany we have many email-adresses with “[email protected]”. The blacklist blocked this, because in the list is this term: -online.
Can you delete this string?
Other problem:
I can not ignore “-online.” in list “excluded terms.
Please check this.
Thanks.
If I add items to “Local Blacklist” that later end up in “Disallowed Comment Keys”, such as via a pull request that eventually gets merged, I want to remove all those duplicates.
I was thinking upon each save to run de-dup, and personally I’d prefer that, but I could see some people not. So either do it that way but give an option/filter to disable automatic — and/or add a button to run it manually.
Doing only a de-dup button is probably the safest way to implement it and keep everyone happy (no surprises on removing without asking due to automatic plugin update).

Hello, thanks for very useful plugin!
There a problem arose with WordPress v5.2.3: when I am trying to save Discussion Settings, the white screen appears with this message:
Not Acceptable!
An appropriate representation of the requested resource could not be found on this server. This error was generated by Mod_Security.
On different sites.
When the plugin is deactivated, all works.
What is the default update schedule that this plugin will download and update the blacklist from the sources?
]]>Just updated a couple of sites to 4.7.1 and manually updating the blacklist from the Discussion Settings screen is not longer working. The “Blacklist terms were updated successfully” status is displayed, but the list itself does not get updated.
I am waiting to see if the automatic updating works, but I’m unsure when that actually occurs.
This issue may have been introduced in an earlier version of WordPress, but I can‘t confirm that because I updated to 4.7.x from a much earlier version of WP.
]]>Does the plugin work on multisite if I network activate it? Or do I need to activate it on each site individually?
Thank you.
