Hi,
I love the idea for the plugin, I just wanted to let you know that in my case it’s not working well.
Checking the option “Remove hyper-link from comment AUTHOR Bio” doesn’t only remove the hyperlink but it removes the comment entirely, it’s not shown on the website anymore.
]]>Hi
Wanted to know if the plugin can help remove links from comments/author bios for already existing hyperlinks. There are comments/author bios already on our WP blog that contain hyperlink and we wanted to remove the same and for future.
Also can you let me know what all is included in the free version.
Regards,
Faraz
Hello,
The plugin works fine thanks. However, I don’t know how to link the warning message?
In the food of the mail I have for example: For accept : https://www.mywebsite.com/wp-admin/comment.php?action=approve&c=20#wpbody-content
How can i get ?
https://www.mywebsite.com/wp-admin/comment.php?action=approve&c=20#wpbody-content starting from {comment_approve_action_url} in the plugin’s mail settings ?
Thank you very much in advance
Paul
Hi! I’m trying to remove the field for a “Website” on my site’s comment forms. I have tried downloading the Comment Link Remove plugin (which was also what WP support suggested) and it didn’t work, and I have also tried installing the Code Snippet plugin and entering the following code:
add_filter(‘comment_form_default_fields’, ‘unset_url_field’);
function unset_url_field($fields){
if(isset($fields[‘url’]))
unset($fields[‘url’]);
return $fields;
}
Along with a couple others I found when I tried using Google to solve the problem. I’m not very code-savvy so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Enable Mailchamp : –> Mailchimp
Allow Comments Filtering by Sentiment (Fontend) –> Frontend
Woocommerce –> WooCommerce
Does this work with bbpress and buddy press
]]>I need to be able to just hide the website field in the comment section. I used to do this with a simple few lines of code in a custom plugin. However, since switching to Jetpack’s comments system, the code no longer has any effect on the website field. I can’t get rid of it.
]]>Hello,
I don’t see the CLR option in the settings menu, but I have followed the instructions for plugin installation. Will you please advise where I can access the plugin settings?
Thanks,

Hi,
I checked the box for “Remove WEBSITE Field from Comment Form”, but the website field is still there, only moved below where it was before.
How can I fix it and remove it completely?
Thanks.
]]>Hello,
I was able to remove the comment author link but the website field is not removing.
I have disabled the Jetpack comment options and Akismet.
Could you kindly help?

]]>The Pro version has the option to notify commenters when their comment is approved.
I wish the Pro version also would let commenters have the option to be notified whenever a post is commented by others.
I also wish non-commenting users had the option to be notified whenever a post is commented.
Do you have any plans to implement such features the Pro version?
]]>Hi QunatumCloud,
Thank you for the very well thought plugin, it’s really useful!
Could we please have an option to Remove HTML Link Tags in Author Bio as well? As it’s too easy for contributing members to add their own links to the website ??
Thanking you in advance for your consideration.
Cheers,
Bertrand.

]]>This is such a promising plugin with exactly the options I want. However, I haven’t had any luck getting either of the following settings to work:
1. Disable turning URLs into hyper-links in comments
2. Remove HTML Link Tags in comments
I did successfully “Hide existing comments”.
I’m also using the plugin Subscribe to Comments Reloaded.
Any idea what might be going on?
