Getting excessive amounts of new sign-ups for my email list. Is this a security issue or something i’m doing wrong? I’m concerned about the sudden influx of new members to my list being potentially spam related.
]]>Hi, currently when you sync up WooCommerce with Constant contact it creates automatic lists based on customer purchase behavior which is fine but we already have different audiences/subscription types which we would like to filter those synced subscribers into.
It would be great if there were preliminary steps to map contacts from WC into CC based on different criteria like: products that were previously purchased, WooCommerce Groups, Categories, Tags, etc.
Also the default Marketing permission checkbox setting does not allow you to edit the generic verbiage that appears on the checkout page or give an option for which information/list they would like to subscribe to. It’s very one dimensional in it’s features and functionally.
Are there any possible code snippets or workarounds for the above?

]]>Hello,
When this plugin is activated on our site, it completely breaks our checkout from actually working. Instead, it throws a “session expired” error when submitting a Woo order and removes all products from the cart. When the plugin is disabled, this doesn’t happen at all. Here is a video showing this issue: https://app.screencast.com/UXhYvUuVDaQsB
Can you please look into this issue?
Thanks!

]]>How do I add users to a specific list if they purchase a product?
]]>Before we install this plug-in, we need to determine if it will do what we need it do do. Our small company performs real estate home inspections. We book/manage our services on a proprietary business platform, Inspection Support Network (ISN). We use Constant Contact to market to customers using a Zapier integration with ISN. Additional Constant Contact features would be available to us if we have a WooCommerce store.
Could we create a very basic WooCommerce store with this plug-in and pull-in all customer data going forward with a Zapier integration? Our customers would still book and pay for services in ISN – but moving data into WooCommerce via Zap link after each transaction would make it possible to use additional Constant Contact features.
Crazy idea or could it work? Thanks.

These errors appear even if I deactivate all other plugins except WordFence, and switch to Twenty Twenty Two theme.
The errors do NOT appear if all plugins are activated EXCEPT Constant Contact + WooCommerce, and my child theme of Flatsome is active.
Investigating your plugin, I found this file: CheckoutHandler.php
I commented out several lines in this function:
/**
* Return array of address fields we want.
*
* @author Michael Beckwith <[email protected]>
* @since 2.1.0
*/
protected function get_the_address_fields() {
return [
// 'address_1',
// 'address_2',
// 'city',
// 'country',
// 'postcode',
// 'state',
'shipping_address_1',
'shipping_address_2',
'shipping_city',
'shipping_country',
'shipping_postcode',
'shipping_state',
'billing_address_1',
'billing_address_2',
'billing_city',
'billing_country',
'billing_postcode',
'billing_state',
'billing_phone',
'billing_email',
];
}
Now the errors no longer appear.
Please fix this!

]]>Hi I am trying to get the Woocommerce plugin to add users to ConstantContact when an order is placed. I have checked all the boxes

You’d think that a company like Constant Contact would do a better job of quality assurance with their contributors and appease these horrible reviews as well. Sad really.

My fields create a green checkmark once the requirements are met, but the green check is aligned to the left, over the end users text. I was hoping to get some guidance making either the check align right, or the text itself. Custom Classes on the form?
]]>I just looked at this thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/list-10/ which had absolutely no helpful reply.
Please note that not all users would like the user emails to be added to the predefined list you guys have. Different sites have different needs. Some site might have a “Newsletter” list where they would like to add the customer email. How to achieve that?
All the customer want is when a customer place a successful order the email id of that customer gets added to the “Newsletter” list instead of the default list that you guys have – as that is of no use to the customer. Looking forward to reply.
P.S.: I honestly don’t know why this is so hard to do with Constant Contant while it can so easily be done with other providers like SendInBlue, ConvertKit, Mailchimp etc.
]]>My store is linked to Constant Contact — confirmed in both the plugin admin and in the CC dashboard.
Import your contacts is set to “Yes” in plugin admin.
I saw “Importing your contacts” displayed in CC for about an hour. It finally stopped and no contacts are imported.
What gives?
PHP 7.4.30
WordPress 6.0.1
WooCommerce 6.6.1
Constant Contact + WooCommerce 1.4.1
I have the plugin installed and integration shows linked in the constant contact account, lists all show 0 still. (Import contacts is also “yes”).. I also have the subscribe on checkout button showing, but those also don’t update in contacts/lists.
Nothing works. How can we fix?
]]>Is there any way to select what Constant Contact List we want contacts to be added to?
]]>This plugin used to work, on the site, but stopped working earlier this year. The WordPress sites says “Congratulations the store is connected to CC”. When click to view the CC dashboard.. it brings me to integrations and asks me to try and reconnect the store—which then asks for a Woocommerce account. Did this plugin stop working with self-hosted WordPress sites? This is what I get when I try to set this back up:
“This free integration will automatically sync your contacts to Constant Contact, create segmented lists for targeted emails and let you drag and drop product blocks directly into your emails – so you can save time and create emails that drive results.Don’t have a WooCommerce account? Sign up”
When I click “connect store” It brings me here: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/constant-contact-woocommerce/.
This just me in a circle.. not sure why it just stopped working.
]]>Hi. I’ve installed the CC/Woo plugin and that works fine.
When first installed, it successfully added the contacts to two lists, First time customers – WooCommerce and All Customers WooCommerce.
Since then it does connect through the Woo integration within CC and says 1 new customer added, however, the new person’s information is not added to the two lists I mentioned above.
Any suggestions why?
Received email from Constant Contact on February 18th about new, enterprise-grade authorization management service for the v3 API. Generated new API credentials (API Key, Secret, and Redirect URI). The Gravity Forms addon returns ‘400 – Unknown or invalid client_id’ errors when trying to connect now. URL in WordPress is (/wp-admin/admin.php?page=gf_settings&subview=gravityformsconstantcontact)
Gravity Forms log shows the following error:
DEBUG --> GF_ConstantContact::initialize_api(): API tokens are empty.
My store is connected to my Constant Contact account. I tried to import my WC?users (252 users) into Constant Contact, but only 52 users are imported. And the “Import your contacts” dropdown in the WP admin is now greyed out.
By leaving that page and entering it again, I was able to get the “Import your contacts” dropdown to function again, and tried the import again, but no more contacts were imported.
How can I import all of my users?

]]>Hello,
We are struggling to synchronize the data between our WooCommerce store & Constant Contact for the last 2 months. The WooCommerce is connected with Constant Contact and it shows the “Congratulations…” message as well. In fact, Constant contact support has tried a lot to check and finally they end up with the comments that there is something issue on our Store side that is blocking the customers to sync. Initially, a month back, the CC support log said that it was a firewall issue and soon we had whitelisted all IPS of the Constant Contact platform, so the issue was resolved. The log was clear after that.
A couple of weeks back, I saw some spark in the synchronization process, and a few customer data were also received in CC but then there is no update yet. Screenshot: https://share.getcloudapp.com/qGuJA8o5
Now, CC support doesn’t find anything in the log. I have re-done integration (Woo – CC) by removing the plugin and installing back many times.
Please guide here. Thanks a lot in advance.
