Hello,
I am using the Contact Form 7 PayPal & Stripe Add-on for payment integration on my WordPress website. I want to allow customers to set their own price using a dynamic field in the form. However, when I add a [number* customer_price]
field to my form and map it to the “Item Price” in the PayPal settings, the shortcode disappears after saving, and the price defaults to 0.00
.
It seems that the add-on does not accept dynamic shortcodes for the “Item Price” field. Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue or suggest a workaround for passing a dynamic custom price to PayPal?
Looking forward to your assistance.
]]>Hello there,
I have the pro version of the plugin, so far it’s been a very smooth sailing. Now I’m trying to understand how to set up recurring payments but can’t understand how. I found a few topics in the support so I guess it is possible but I can’t find a way
Thanks!
]]>since today, i ve an error ‘An unexpected error occurred. Please try again.’ when i send the form..
when i check logs in stripe, nothing arrived, i cant get them. i think the website is not connected anymore to stripe
]]>I created a contact form with conditional fields with services and prices of those selected fields. The total amount is automatically calculated as per the selection of fields. I want to integrate stripe payment that automatically takes the total amount that has been calculated for payment.

]]>I am the Administrator of the website using your plug in. It’s working well.
Is there any way that I could get a confirmation that PayPal charged the person’s credit card?
I believe the submitter gets a confirmation…can I get a similar confirmation?
]]>Hello, I used your module to integrate PayPal to the form, all work fine but when the customer is sent to PayPal there is only the possibility to pay either with paypal account or create a paypal account, the button “Pay whith Debit or Credit Card” not show, how can we enable this button?
Thanks
]]>How do we link the payment to the form completion?
]]>Sometimes, but not always, redirection to Paypal does not occur for users. I have not been able to replicate it, since it’s intermittent. I read the documentation at https://wpplugin.org/documentation/contact-form-7-form-does-not-submit/ as recommended in other forum posts.
I have the latest version of the plugin, 2.2
Php is v8.2.17
There are two “must-use” plugins for caching, installed by the hosting company, Endurance Browser Cache and Endurance Page Cache.
I don’t see any page-level settings for caching.
I’m not using any of the javascript plugins the article mentions.
The only plugins specifically tied to CF7, other than yours are ReCaptcha v2 for Contact Form 7 1.4.5 and Redirection for Contact Form 7 3.1.2. The latter is not the same as was listed as a possible conflict in the documentation, but I wonder now if I don’t need it anymore? Does your plugin handle the redirection?
It’s hard to test any changes I make to see if they work, since I haven’t been able to replicate the issue.
Is there any possibility the user’s own browser settings could be an issue?
Thanks!
]]>I am receiving a message Contact Form 7 – PayPal & Stripe Add-on’ now uses the PayPal Commerce Platform. PayPal Standard is now a Legacy product.
How do I know if my account is on the PayPal Commerce Platform? I don’t see that information on the account.
]]>I added my existing PayPal account to the Plugin…I got a confirmation. I thought all was ready to go.
When I tried to go to the PayPal page after filling out the Contact Form, I got an error message to “Wait and try later” and noticed a red flag that “Express Checkout could not be found.
How do I fix this problem? Is this fixed in the Plugin or in my PayPal account?
]]>I have an existing Business PayPal account and want to use it for this Plugin…but the “setup” is confusing.
The 1st screen provides what looks to be a secure server url and a NEXT button…so I clicked Next. The next screen offers options to set up a Personal or Business Account, I selected Business and clicked Next. Is the 3rd screen where I type in my existing PayPal account e-mail?
I had expected to see a screen that said “If you already have a PayPal account, enter its email address here”…but the screens mentioned above seem to imply I am setting up a new PayPal account.
Please clarify so that I can get this Plug in to be actively collecting payments.
Thank you.

]]>So I have a client who would like to add a promo code field to a form. This form includes PayPal payment and is built with Contact Forms 7 together with Elementor Builder and Scott Paterson’s “Easy PayPal & Stripe Buy Now Button” Plugin.
Is there a way in which i could add this promo code field in the ‘Contact Forms 7’ form and then it reduces the price the client has to pay, so somehow it has to interact with the PayPal plugin too.
Thanks in advance.
Just updated to V2.1 (free version), reconnected to Paypal. Now when submitting a form and going to Paypal to pay, Paypal shows a white page with just “Price can’t be empty.” We are using 0.00 for the price so the user can enter the dollar amount when they get to Paypal. This worked before the plugin update. What do we need to change to allow the user to enter an amount?
]]>Hi all,
I need a way to save payment info in Stripe as a way of collateral in case customers don’t pay the reminders after the paid their deposit. Obviously with legal disclaimers and consents we could charge after like Car Rentals do for example.
Is this flow supported somehow?
Thanks!
]]>We’ve set up a form and connected Paypal account, but when form is submitted it only shows success notification but doesn’t redirect to Paypal. Are we missing something here?

We have been having this issue on our website for a while now on any Contact 7 forms which we do not wish to use Paypal or Stripe on. The option for Skip Redirect is ticked, but it still tries to go to this URL and then gives the following error message:
“Problem using PHP Sessions. Admin – Go to Contact -> PayPal & Stripe Settings -> Other -> Temporary Storage Method – > Select Cookies”
URL: SITEURL/?cf7pp_paypal_redirect=5&cf7pp_t=null&cf7pp_i=null&cf7pp_p=null
Plugin version: 1.9.4
PayPal transactions fail, and requests remain pending in the backend.

After submitting the form, connecting to PayPal, and completing the payment I am then going to Contact-> Paypal & Stripe Payments section in WordPress. Can you please help me with this issue?
]]>I recently updated the plugin and WP to the latest versions. After updating, the CF7 forms with variable products displayed a critical error after form submission. I currently have DEBUG enabled and am receiving multiple errors indicating this plugin as the culprit.

]]>Is it possible with this plugin to have a different amount for each form?
And what about if I want to sell multiple tickes with discount?
for example:
1 Participant 100 euro
2 Participants at 180 euro totally instead of 200 euro
3 Participants at 250 euro instead of 300 euro
Hi, I want to make sure before I buy it that I can see each payment from which contact form submission it comes.
Will I be able to do it? Are Payments linked to customers to be able to go back later and check for a specific payment made by a particular customer?
Thank you.
]]>I have a website that uses Contact Form 7, and I have purchased the Pro version of the Paypal/Stripe add-on.
On my page is a very simple form requesting them for some basic details which will be sent to me via email after sending, and also a dynamic field that allows them to input the payment amount themselves.
It was working up till recently when I tested it, and it gave me an error saying “Problem using PHP Sessions. Admin – Go to Contact -> PayPal & Stripe Settings -> Other -> Temporary Storage Method – > Select Cookies”.
Cookies is already selected. I have tried changing it to Session, and it didn’t work. I changed it back to Cookies and it still doesn’t work. Is there a solution for this?

]]>Hello,
Our website just got this problem after we updated our WordPress. The billing address fields don’t show up when choosing Stripe as a payment. but PayPal is working fine and it lets them take to another page to PayPal to continue their payment.
When looking at the back end of my plugin “Contact Form 7 – PayPal & Stripe Settings” everything is okay and Stripe even has this color green and on “Off (Live Mode”
