In terms of cost: to charge ￡1 for 100 SMS would equate to 1p per SMS.
Individuals can signup to mobile contracts with lots of cheap texts but for us mere businesses purchasing texts by the millions from network providers then I can assure you we can not buy them at 1p. And then you need to think about hiring staff, buying servers, building a service, renting an office, Tax, NIC, business rates and all the other associated costs of sending those text messages on your behalf.

thought it was completely free so the 5p charge was a surprise but it works just fine otherwise. good plugin. now developer should look to reducing cost per sms. I’d suggest ￡1 gets you 100 sms. Sms is a cheap outdated technology, there’s no reason it should cost much.
