I needed a simple contact form and was advised to go for the free option of Contact Form Manager. The site has no more that 50 visitors per day and few want to contact anyone. I liked the no bells, whistles or complex set up. It worked first time after activation and I haven’t touched it in the few weeks I’ve had it. I obviously can’t speak for the pro version or those wanting more tweaks, but for me it has comfortably earned five stars.
The perfect plugin for my needs.
I’ve designed and managed various websites for over 14 years but have always used web-authoring software. I decided to try WP just for a change – I’m not a nerd but am fairly IT literate – for the website I run for a small charity and found it fun. I now use WP and CFM for my own site.

One of my customers is using v1.3.1 of the commercial plugin.
We were recently notified by the hoster , that spam was sent through a contact form run by xyz contact form plugin.
There is currently no fix.
Do not use this plugin, nor the commercial one.

I am giving this 5 stars because the free version provides a lot of features that others do not. The trade off is that the interface is very limited. You really need to know HTML to create the forms and CSS if you want to style them.
I might go for the paid version next that allows copying forms.

If you only want one form then this plugin is great.
If you want to add a second form (for instance a french version of the french copy of the contact page) then the second form will not render. Period.

After some issues it is working fine with ReCaptcha, replacing my old php mail code I used since over 12 years. This one is much easier to configure. Great work.

XYZ WP Contact Form Manager (V 1.2) is a great plugin that does what it says, I needed to store contact responses so I upgraded to the paid version and everything worked as expected. I had one small problem that I caused moving sites and contacted support and they were quick to respond and help fix my mistake.

The XYZScripts support team is awesome, the plugin works great and the premier is worth the cost! I needed to have 3 different contact forms for over 80 different location pages, each with a different email. I had great support from the XYZScripts team and was able to accomplish what I needed. Now I have so many more possibilities with the plugin.

The three forms I’ve built work perfectly, including the ReCaptcha boxes. With a little HTML, you can customize your forms however you’d like. Once I get to the point where I actually start making money instead of spending it on opening the business, I will be purchasing the premium version to gain a few of its features.
