When someone on the website enters the required information into the contact form, the messages are not arriving to my inbox.

Is there any advice on how to fix this please?

I’m writing the WordPress site on my home computer. Most of the pages are working, but my Contact form, based on the shortcode [contact], just shows up as “[contact]”.

I installed the Shortcode and it shows under Settings.
I filled in the form’s required fields.
I went to the Contact page and put [contact] in the visual tab editor.
I saved the updated form.
Clicked “view page” — and it comes up with nothing but

[contact]

What could I be doing wrong?

Hi,
I’ve successfully implemented this plugin on a single page, and created a contact page on my site. I’m now trying to build a page with some text and a contact form. However, no matter where I place [contact], the contact form appears above the text.
any ideas?
