I have updated the plugin to version 2.2.8, and the AMP pages are now loading. However, in Google Search Console, AMP pages are still marked as invalid with errors. I have attached a screenshot showing the issue in Google Search Console.
]]>Hi,
I’m seeing mixed success with this plugin in connection with a Foriminator contact form I am using. In particular I am still receiving spam submissions even though they are being reported in the Maspik spam log as being blocked.
I have noticed it seems to be the javascript check that is occasionally failing: ‘JavaScript check failed – The year submitted by JavaScript() does not match the current server year(2024)’, though it does also appear to be stopping many submissions. If there is data I can send to help diagnose, let me know.
I am also noticing that the AbuseIPDB API is not being utilised for this Forminator form – APIv2 daily request limits are always at 0. The key is entered on the Maspik settings page.
thanks
]]>Hi,
When I reply the post comment on the admin, it is blocked by Maspik: https://picshack.net/ib/eKbuRSYkkf, if I reply the same comment on the front, it will not be blocked.
]]>Hello,
I don’t see a post yet for this. But this is an emerging issue we are facing.
Multiple sites that we have Maspik installed on are reporting that CF7 submissions are no longer going through, as of the latest update to 2.2.3 2 days ago.
We only use Maspik for the Abuse IP DB integration, and have disabled nearly all the other features.
The only fix we’ve found is to rollback to version 2.2.2.
Is the development team aware of this?
Any ETA for a fix? I don’t like to use out of date plugins.
Thanks for your time and have a great rest of your day.
]]>I am experiencing critical errors on my AMP pages after installing the Maspik – Advanced Spam Protection plugin. The AMP pages are not loading properly, and they throw a critical error message.
I have tried deactivating the plugin, which resolves the issue,
Error:
Fatal error: Cannot declare class WpOrg\Requests\Requests, because the name is already in use in?/home/infoclutch/public_html/installed-base/wp-content/plugins/contact-forms-anti-spam/license/vendor/rmccue/requests/src/Requests.php?on line?37
The cron job or WordPress triggers a cleanup process of maspik plugin once a day. Within the file contact-forms-anti-spam/includes/includes/functions.php there is a function named “maspik_clean_expired_ip_check_transients”
The errornous SQL is:
$wpdb->query(“DELETE FROM {$wpdb->options} WHERE option_name LIKE ‘transient_maspik_ip_check%’ AND option_name NOT IN (SELECT CONCAT(‘transient‘, SUBSTRING(option_name, 20)) FROM {$wpdb->options} WHERE option_name LIKE ‘transient_timeout_maspik_ip_check%’)”);
This creates the following error message:
Output: WordPress database error You can’t specify target table ‘wp_options’ for update in FROM clause for query
MySQL doesn’t allow to deleting from a table when the subselect is using the same table.

]]>On June 17 and September 7, respectively, two separate subscriptions auto-renewed as they have for the past couple of years. While they show as active on the Subscriptions page, on the Licenses page they are still showing as expired.
I have emailed you a couple of times re: this but have yet to receive a response. Any help would be appreciated.
Best,
Cynthia
It says “Please update the database first” ?
]]>I running debug on the site because files on logs folder on plesk hosting are huge, I found guide to use debug.log file and I getting this message Failed to save spam log: WordPress database error: Processing the value for the following field failed: spamsrc_val. The supplied value may be too long or contains invalid data.
Is it relate to you plugin? is the URL length relate to this?

]]>One of our team members keeps getting a “your submission failed” error even though I only have a few keywords set for the message text field. Here is a screenshot. I can’t tell if the validation notice is meant for the email or phone field, but I don’t have any limitations set for either of those. And myself and others on my team are able to successfully submit tests of the form. Any ideas why this one is getting caught up and not able to submit?

Hi. What should the Risk Threshold for the Abuse IPDB and Proxy Check APIs be? Is this a 1-10 or 1-100 value? And what’s a good value to start with to catch spam offenders?
]]>The new version break the site and show the text “Leave this field empty” with random number
]]>Hi,
The 2.0.0 version will close WordPress comment function. If I set it to not support WordPress comment on the “Forms Options” section, it will return to normal.
]]>Hello,
when I add a change and then click on save, the following message appears:
“The requested URL /wp-admin/optionsphp was not found on this server.”
The file “options.php” exists, but the dot in front of the file extension is missing in the error message. So I can no longer save.
An option to mark false positives would be great. Like “this is not Spam” please add a button for that. Except from that great plugin. Thank you

Thank you
Are you going to offer Support for Quform
I like your plugin. But quform is the ONLY form that offers me the features I need. ie: limit characters in message.
But you don’t integrate MASPIK with Quform
Will you please do this ?
]]>Limit text field to X characters. GREAT
But…. If only you had the SAME function for TEXTAREA.
I have a form in Elementor with
First Name
Last NAme
mobile number state or territory
Message – I want to LIMIT this field enrty to X characters .
The option is there for Text Field, so can we please have it for Text Area
]]>Hi All,
I’m using Maspik and it does an amazing job of keeping the form traffic as clean as possible.
Now I’d like to know what protections it would give WooCommerce if I signed up with the Pro / Premium version of Maspik.
Specifically what I would like to be able to do, is block specific addresses from ordering. But on a more general sense, keep down any orders that are spammy also.
How can I know why message is blocked?
I have recaptcha and honeypot, the log shows the honeypot is empty and the message is still blocked
How can I block email in the following format?
Hi,
The text area field block doesn’t wotk, details: https://picshack.net/ib/9jxJbPCjiu I also test on the frond-end, the spam message run into my email box.
]]>Since yesterday / version 1.0.0, our logfile is filled with the message
“Maspik – Spam blacklist – Cron Checker: License key not found.”
This is logged every hour.
Can this logging be reduced or prevented?
Otherwise the log fills with unnecessary content.
It seems to origin from the file:
/license/vendor/ideologix/dlm-wp-simple-checker/src/Checker.php
Hi
Despite using your regex example “https://” plus another regex “https” for the Text field and Text area field, each regex inserted on a new line, all SPAM containing URLs are passed regardless from the Elementor contact form.
Which is a problem, since newest Form SPAM all contain URL’s. BTW, how do these SPAMMERS manage to bypass the Google Recatpcha check AND the Elementor honey trap?
Thanks – Phil
]]>Hello,
My website has in the last few months received an absolute barrage of weird contact form entries. They’re quite innocuous, as they contain absolutely nothing other than a bogus email-address, a single name in the text field for their name, and the same first- and surnames in the text field for the subject and textarea field for the message. Innocuous as they may be, they’re still very annoying.
There is no consistent feature that ties these messages together, other than always using a VPN in a eastern european country and the general structure of the entry, so the only effective way of blocking them out is to deny the entire IP-block of a single country, which may of course discriminate against legitimate users in those countries.
I don’t expect any legitimate website visitor using my contact form to only input two words in my contact form, so I would like to request a features to simply be able to filter on length of the input in a text area field.
Thanks
Here is a screen dump of two such messages, that were caught because they came from a Moldovan IP address.
]]>There are no rules for phone numbers set in the filter, but it is blocking every phone number that’s entered in a contact form as ‘spam’
