We’ve had a lot of spam registrations on our forum, so I wanted something to block not only by IP-address and/or country, but also by e-mail domain. Maspik does that. It originally did not support the registration plugin we’re using (BuddyPress). But I was given a prerelease that does, and it does seem to work well!
I’m happy. For the first time in years I won’t need to browse logs, lookup IP-addresses, and block them. Maspik is a time saver.

Excellent plugin that does exactly what it claims to do — block spam based on a blacklist.
Just put a few common url shorteners in the list (+ of course “eric” “jones” — whatever is behind it, I wish rotting alien genitalia grew on its forehead), and enjoy an almost spam-free environment (after some minor fine-tuning, I am getting perhaps 49/50 kill rate).

People are sleeping on this plugin. It is the most efficient one I have tried. I have tried all of them. I have tested this and paid for membership, it works great so far and highly needed in this community. The private API is amazing. Great job.
I have 3 questions:
Will you consider adding “Validation error message” to private API?
Will you consider adding “Limit Text area field to X characters” to the private API?
Will you allow apostrophe to be added to Text Area Field. My ‘ turns into ' ; – This does not block the spam – Can you please fix this.

Nothing is working. The lenght of the message. The number of links (I chose 1 link). The forbidden words. Nothing.

Does Not show Support for Quform
Also, You have the ability to limit characters in Text Field But….
NO option for Limit text AREA field to X characters.
Surely this is not a hard thing to code if you already have that ability in the text field.

The plugin really works to filter out unwanted spam, or other abusers, from submitting forms. Repeat offenders can be completely stopped, whether is from Russia, or using Google as their company name.
It’s so powerful, you must be careful in its use.
The tech aspect is a bit high… as much as you must know what a wildcard is.

This plugin saved me so much time. Our Elementor contact form was getting spammed and I was able to target the spammer by their IP, Location, and many other options that this plugin allows. Even after blocking the entire country that was spamming our form, the form still works perfectly for non-spam! 10/10 would recommend it!
