I’ve got a website using the Avada theme, which has a builder tool and lots of stuff in it. When I use the Content Progress plugin, it breaks a page in the Avada Library. Instead of showing me a block type in the table, I get an error that says “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”
This is the error I get in the email:

Long story short, if i whip up an instance with just plain avada (7.3.1) and this plugin, I get the same error. So, it’s likely an incompatibility, and I’m sharing it with both, in hopes that the error message means something to you and it can be fixed.
Thanks.
]]>We have many many pages. I’m trying to track pages that we need to review, for example. But I can’t be clicking through the list over and over again just to look for flagged pages. Is there a way to sort the pages by flagged items???
]]>hi love the plugin
only thing I cannot figure out is how to display new posts i use
[list status=’New’] but it only shows up new pages and not posts i have posts, pages media etc. i have created a status of new
how can i get it to display posts as well as pages
is there a way to automatically change new to completed
Is there a way to control who is able to see the notes? Such as only allowing admins or the specific author to see the notes added to his/her post?
Thanks! Great, simple plugin.

]]>Hello
I am not seeing any default flags and I am unable to save the flags either.
Any ideas welcome.
Thanks
]]>Joe,
This plugin fills one need of ours quite nicely (marking pages that are known to be outdated / in need of revision), but we have a LOT of pages, so it’s difficult to find the ones that have been flagged.
What are the chances of adding a filtering box to the pages view that lets you filter the page view by flag status? Failing that, even being able to click on the flag column to sort would help by bringing any flagged pages to the top of the view.
If either of those things isn’t feasible, the other suggestion would be simply add a “Content Progress” section to the Admin panel and create a “Flagged Items” list that just enumerates every currently flagged page/post/whatever and lets you click on said flagged item to edit it.
Thanks for your hard work on this plugin!
]]>Is there still plans to include a choice of default status in a future version?
Thank you!
]]>The plugin is very good.
It would be amazing if we could send an email notification to authors about the progress of their content.
Thanks !
]]>Hi,
thanks for the recent update. I have 2 little requests:
When translating “Flag” into German “Flagge”, the admin column is too narrow. It should be at least 50px.
Line 142: #cp { width: 50px; }
The title of the metabox is untranslatable. This would help in line 320:
add_meta_box( 'cp_div',__('Content Progress','content-progress'), 'cp_add_inner_box', $value, 'side' );
Thanks a lot!

i installed the Plugin but it is in English.

My WP is in German but the Plugin is not.

]]>Hello
I’m using your plugin and it’s great! Is there anyway the system could send out a notification so that I can alert the author of the article that I have left comments?
thanks so much!
Matt

]]>Fatal error: Call to undefined function exif_imagetype() in xxx-path\wp-content\plugins\content-progress\content-progress.php on line 481
Using WP 3.5.1
Php 5.4.11
Hi,
I like your plugin but I am getting the above fatal error under the “Additional included icons’ Information in admin.
I looked up the error and I am seeing a lot of issues with using exif_imagetype overall. The suggestion I have seen is to use “getimagesize” instead as it does return the TYPE very good according to what I read.
Just a suggestion. Since EXIF extension has to be installed in php.ini for it to word and some servers don’t.
However, I also see that there is no function defined for exif_imagetype in your file.
[edit]
For me, I just changed the exif_imagetype with getimagesize and the rest of the page shows up now, the get support section. I hope that corrected the issue and didn’t just hide it..

]]>For an Editor like me, it’s often the small, handy plugins that make a huge difference in keeping the workflow working nicely. This is one such (rare) plugin.
With ver 1.3, being able to add my own status descriptions and icons transforms it totally.
If you’re a busy editor I suggest you try the plugin for a few days – I guarantee you’ll keep it – and remember to send a donation over to Joe as I have.

p.s. No connection or affil with the developer – just really chuffed to find a useful plugin that works perfectly. (Unlike quite a few on here!)

]]>So I love this plugin. I am in the process of finally converting my own HTML site of 75+ pages to WordPress. I had initially copied over all my content while I was getting to know WP in a different database. I later created a new one but imported all the content from the old one. On top of it, I was still updating my HTML site so now I need to figure out what’s changed and what’s different. I have a huge mess of content. These flags are going to help a bunch.
So here is my ideas.
On the page edit in the same box as the Content Progress; Mark as incomplete etc. Make it so you can put a note to yourself as to what you need to do yet. Then make that viewable in the list form.
Another flag idea would be “Needs Improvement” so that its ok but later will need more work.
Another would be the ability to select all of the pages and set them to “Needs Review” so that you know when you have worked through each one manually.
Oh and another would be to make it so that you can change the flag from the “Quick Edit”
This is definitely going to be a plugin that I add to my favorites and tell my WP friends about at the next WordCamp.
Great job!
Karissa
P.S. Love your My Content Management plugin too.

]]>In the screenshot you have the flags in different colors. But when I installed the plugin I just got one color (green) for the only option: “Mark as incomplete”.
Is there any way to have different colors for different purposes?
Also, I have a suggestion: make this accessible through Quick Edit. Having the plugin there would be quite handy for websites with big number of posts.
