First off, thank you for this plug-in. When the Tao plug-in stopped working, I needed something to replace it, and this is even easier to use than that one was. That said, I only need this plug-in to schedule updates to pages. Soliloquy, which is used to manage our homepage sliders, has its own slide scheduling option. Since I added this plug-in, the option to schedule individual slides in Soliloquy has been disabled. Any efforts to try scheduling individual slides has failed altogether. And using Content Update doesn’t work either. It’s like the two are fighting, and neither is winning the fight. Any suggestions?
Hello
When scheduling for next day at 00:05 it is publishing two hours before.
We have this problem with new version. We are in GMT+2, I don’t know it it have something to do, But it works ok if scheduling inside the same day but not if scheduling for the next day. What may be happening?
I must say that I don’t know what logic it follows. It’s not working properly, at least for me it’s not publishing at the scheduled time but before
Sorry about that. If you need to access to our development site please let me know. Thanks in advance
Hello,
I use it with custom post types. With latest version sometimes (I don’t know when but it’s frequent) both the original post and the cloned one are deleted when the scheduled time arrives, so everything disappears.
Thank you in advance
Hello,
I have some custom posts that have inside its content some posts with its title. When I schedule the custom post, the quotes of the titles of the posts (if they have quotes) included in the content are saved in the database with the unicode value, instead of the normal quotes, and they appear like that. It didn’t happen with the previous version. What may be happening?
Thank you in advance!
Hi,
Tested the plugin with WordPress 6.6.1. The scheduled content update stays not published after the republication date. Tested with both block and classic editor. No error or warning logs are stored. I’m using recursive scheduling.
Thanks.

Hello
This plugin has been abandoned but this info doesn’t appear on the plugin page.
Can this info be added to it please?
Thanks
Nico
In wp-content/plugins/content-update-scheduler/content-update-scheduler.php:65 the action and filter used to add the scheduled info column are wrong.
‘manage_edit-‘ . $type->name . ‘_columns’ is a filter and
‘manage_’ . $type->name . ‘_posts_custom_column’ is an action, not the other way around, as they are being used in the code.
Not observing the above facts leads to this column not behaving correctly when the above filters are used by other plugins.
Hey guys
Great tool
In the event you guys are actively working on the plugin, can I ask for a feature enhancement
The ability to see all scheduled content for all page/posts/custom post types on a centralised page, with the ability to bulk change the scheduled times for all on that admin page.
Secondly, to extend this function further the ability to see all scheduled draft content next to published edit scheduled content
this is a bit more extreme but
https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/wp-scheduled-posts/
In my test, I created a post at 3:38 pm and scheduled it for 3:45 pm. After saving, the time was set on 15:50. At 3:47 p.m. the update was already “published”. I not checked it every minute.
This seems to work with a WooCommerce variable product but it adds an out of stock label to the homepage product display which only goes away when you resave the product. Really shame this is not maintained as it’s an awesome plugin in theory.
Hi,
I’m using WP 5.4.2 and i was using Tao Scheduled update plugin since today and it worked well.
Today, the variable products are duplicate without variable.
I tried this plugin and it is the same issue.
Please tell me it can be fix
Hello
I have installed it but doesn’t seem to work ok with latest Gutenberg. It has not been updated for 5 months now. Is still active? If not Anybody knows about an alternative?
I ran into some problems with the “Release Date” feature:
1. When I save a post as a draft without scheduling, sometimes the “Release Date” is remained empty, but sometimes it it fills up only when I click “Schedule” in the WordPress editor view. The documentation in the plugin page says only save as a draft and exit to the control panel. This is confusing and inconsistent.
2. The value I see eventually in Release Date is about 8-10 minutes from the time I click the schedule button. I think it’s always a 10 minute multiple, like :00, :10 and so on. When I check the date in the post’s Quick Edit view, I see the time and date that I have set. When I try to re-schedule, the Release Date won’t update. HELP!
I can’t understand the way Release Date works. Is that a documentation problem or is it a technical problem on my side?
I run a Multisite Install with Elementor. Does the plugin even support Multisite?

Just thought I would let you know about a bug
PHP Notice: Trying to get property ‘ID’ of non-object in /wp-content/plugins/content-update-scheduler/content-update-scheduler.php on line 927
Hi Guys,
First of all thanks for blowing new life into the scheduled content plugin.
Tried it out today, but ran into an issue. In content-update-scheduler.php
on line 316 there is a hard output of CSS that, in our case, is being thrown into the header to soon, causing PHP to give a ‘header already send’ error.
Could you please change this to make it output through the admin_head action.
Quick example:
add_action( 'admin_head', function() {
?>

<?php
});

Hi there, I recently started using your plugin when the only other scheduled content updates plugin (that I know of) stopped working.
However, the last remaining piece that I need for this workflow is the ability to use Public Preview links (using this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/public-post-preview/). However, when I enable these public preview links on the pages I have scheduled content updates, I am directed to a 404 page now.
Can we fix this?
I’d like to know if this plugin will schedule updates on the posts meta data, or just the word content. Like… if I want to schedule a change from pass-word locked to not locked, or change the category after a week to archived. Does this do that?
The first time I tried scheduling an update to page content,
a) it crashed the page giving a 404 error
b) it looked like it updated only when I was signed in as admin, NOT as regular viewer
c) it appeared to have updated early
Anyone else have these problems? A YouTube video on the predecessor plugin (Tao Scheduler) says at the end that sometimes the page content disappears?
