Hello! After fresh install latest 21.2.9.1 on latest WordPress 6.4.2 with no other plugins it not working. I created test gallery and uploaded there images via admin consMain shortcode shows only blank grey squares (loading). Tried to use PHP 7.4 (now 8.0) – not helped.

I am interested in keeping the size of my media library fairly small.

After a contest is closed, do you have the ability to select and remove all associated photos?

I can’t see how to force people to login before uploading – any suggestions?

Also I previously paid for Pro but deleted the plugin, now have readded it but not showing Pro

Is it possible to do a check during upload like this:

“3. Photo Quality Standards: All photo submissions must adhere to specific quality standards. Each photo should have a minimum resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Submissions not meeting this requirement may be disqualified.”

When the photo has been uploaded, its dimensions must be checked as a minimum requirement. If the photo does not meet these requirements, it should be rejected. I should also be able to send a message in case it’s acceptable or not.

I started 4 weeks ago with this plugin and am very satisfied.

I searched for available exif data but got no hits back hence my question. Is there a way to extract all available exif data of all photos into a list?

Contest Gallery had been working fine, and there are 31 submitted images, but it has stopped showing images, perhaps after latest update but it’s been a few weeks since I checked it. There is a quick flash of a gray block when the page loads, but then nothing is displayed.

I deleted and reloaded the short code [cg_gallery_no_voting id=”1″] into a new siteorigin editor block, but that did not fix the issue.

Every time I save the settings in Contest Gallery>Edit Gallery>Edit Options>Save all option. The gap between the top and the field for login increases on every save.

Hey there, great plugin! Just need some help with a new issue I’m experiencing.

I got a notification that users who for sure had not yet voted could not vote – says that they already voted when they had not.

I tested with a friend who I know for sure had not yet voted (different IP, location, device… everything) and they couldn’t vote either.

Any help appreciated. I sent a link in the proper location. Thanks!

When I activate an image the uploader gets an notification but the url they are supposed to link to their image is invalid. They get this message

I have tested to myself and tried in different browsers. Have I mnisconfigured something?

Probably obvious but I am puzzled why all images say winner above the thumbnail in the back-end gallery. There is a button to manually set winners too but makes no difference to the grey WINNER in the top left above the thumbnail.

I am using multiple stars and, if anything I would expect the highest rated images to say winner rather than just the tick on the winner button.

I think I may have missed a how to or a why bit of the documentation

Is it possible to suppress the category text overlaying the thumbnails in the gallery? I am not using category so it just show Other which is not ideal

Is it possible to populate a gallery from a zip file, in the backend?

We’ve been using Contest Gallery for a few years. We ran a contest in 2020. The entries in that contest are still displayed, no problem. Example: https://www.aslo.org/photo-contest-2020/photo-contest-2020-all-photos/

I upgraded Contest Gallery Pro to the latest version and created a new gallery for a new photo contest: https://www.aslo.org/palma-2023/photography-contest/.

The submission process works just fine, but the gallery does not display the uploaded image. Instead, it displays a hatched blank area with the correct aspect ration. If I click where the image should be, the entry page opens, but it also does not display the image. On the entry page, if I click “on the icon to “display the original image” icon, the image is displayed (https://www.aslo.org/wp-content/uploads/12-craterlake.jpg). So, the submission is working, the image was uploaded, but Contest Gallery Pro is not displaying it. The image is only 58K, 1280×960 px.

I’m stuck and could use some helpful hints!

I receive my images in bulk oen category at a time. So I have 50 open category images in one zip, 25 mono category in another zip and so on. The category is not recorded with each image. Do I have to select each images category one at a time or can I set a default that gets automatically inserted?

I want to show and vote on a gallery to non-registered and non logged in users. How do I do that?

I am using the media library but the media file title does not show in the gallery image

How do I remove the upload button from the gallery display?
And how do I not show the category filter buttons?

Where are the categories and how do I edit them anyway?

I have been trying to set up your plugin on a temporary site and have had success, but this time, we are unable to restrict the ability to download images IMPORTANT! Also cannot seem to adjust the view from the back end.

Worse still, the ability to vote is missing!- what have I done wrong please? this is a live competition!

Searches are working when I search with “Art title” but not working when I search with “Artist Name”

I really like this Plugin. There is one minor thing that I couldn’t figure out though. I would like to display the Image Dimensions in Gallery View. In particular in the Blog View. I have Exif data but Width and Height of the Original would be great.
I tried to add code to inside-gallery-single-image-view.php but couldn’t get the data to show :-). Maybe because I am not a Coding Expert.

I would like to create something like social-platform for people, who will be able to add/edit/delete their images and other users can browse them. My question:

1) If its possible that we can allow to edit and delete images only for their authors? (and of course for admin). This is questions about permissions etc.
To sum up this question. because I’m not sure if I’m clear ?? – so, any other users (logged-in or not) see all images, but only user who uploaded this file – can edit or delete it.

Your plugin is great (for example search-options etc), and I plan to buy your PRO licence, but I would like to know these answers ??
