I’ve even tried to deactivate every installed plugin, but it hasn’t work anyway.

Debug shows:

I’ve activated: Show the alert if the visitor’s country could not be determined (Recommended)
But alert doesn’t appear…

]]>Hi, I’ve installed this plugin in many sites and it always worked fine.
But in a site that I’m working right now, it doesn’t work as it should.
When I accept the message, it doesn’t set the cookie “cookillian_opt_in”, so when I continue the navigation in this site the message appears again.
I’ve tried to work with another theme, change the WordPress version, disabled all the others plugins… and still not work.
Any idea of where is the problem?
Thanks in advance.

I need to know if this plugin works with 3.8.1 version of WP.
Thanks in advance.
]]>Hi,
I’ve installed this plugin in a site with a domain like this “word-word.com”. When your plugin tries to set the opt_in or opt_out cookie for this site, you extract the tld to get the domain.
The error happens in file /vendor/pf4wp/lib/Pf4wp/Common/Cookies.php below line 75. Your regular expression matches only “word.com” and not “word-word.com”. I believe the problem is in your regular expression.
Thanks for your great work anyway!
]]>Hello,
This is a great plugin, but I cannot make it work…
I have installed and activated it, but when I try to see the alert on my website it does nothing at all. I have activated the debug mode, but still nothing.
This plugin seems to do just what I need, so any help will be very much appreciated. Thank you!

After installing and configuring the plugin, it doesn’t appear on my website ovulum.com.
The country is detected:

I reviewed your Cookillian Troubleshooting post but I can’t figure out where is the problem.
I use the Canvas theme from Woothemes on a WP multisite and use https protocol.
Can you help me?

Its the only one that really works blocking cookies.
I’ve managed to configure all de the scripts to work after the acceptation. But some wordpress modules have php code when loading cookies or javascript.

There’s a “if” (conditional) php code that i can use in other plugins?
Like
if (cookilian(acceptance_ok) {
//load other cookies
}
Thanks.
Best regards.
Internet Explorer 10, 9, 8 don’t show the alert. It works fine with Firefox, Chrome and Safari. Do you know why?

]]>Hi,
How can I change expiry date of cookies (opt-in, opt-out)? By cookie laws in our country, cookies that last more then 6 or 12 months are considered as invasive cookies.
So I would need to change expiry date of cookillian_opt_out and cookillian_opt_in cookies from 3 years to at least 1 year! Can you please tell me how can I do that?
Kind regards

]]>Hello. Cookillian is displaying its alert to visitors to my site coming from the United States. I do not have the United States selected in the Countries box, nor is the “Undetermined Countries” checkbox selected. I do not have debug mode set.
I personally see the Cookillian alert when I visit my site using Chrome as my browser, and sometimes also when using IE 9. Rarely if ever when using Firefox. When I visit my site (again, without debug mode selected), using Chrome, sometimes the alert will display multiple times — that is, on every page I visit — even though I’ve selected “opt in” the first time the alert is displayed.
I do not want the alert to be displayed to visitors from the U.S. The alert is also displaying to visitors from countries other than those I’ve selected in the Countries box (I’ve only selected Austria, United Kingdom, and Latvia). Such as: Denmark, Hungary, Egypt, New Zealand, India, Germany, and Canada. Again, I do not have the “Undetermined Countries” box checked.
Basically, the alert is displaying to visitors that I don’t want to have it displayed to, even though I haven’t selected the country. Maybe it’s a problem with Chrome?
Thanks for any help you can provide!
Eric
]]>Hi,
I have a weird problem with cookillian!
When i deactivate cookillian and- or delete it, it break my current theme. Other theme’s seem to be working fine. But when i switch back to the current theme it still doesn’t work. It looks like it broke either all the javascript, or cookies arn’t being set correctly anymore. (Since it only breaks the parts that uses cookies).
I’m not using any proxy cache’s such as varnish or nginx. Just regular apache server on my own server. (Except for cloudflare that uses nginx)
Does cookillian alter some wordpress config files?
Best regards,
Mark
Hi there,
When I install the plugin and I set it up it messes the my CSS and the website looks terrible. I’d like the alert to appear overlaying all the contents.
I decided to use the “custom alert style” whithout success. I type:
'position: absolute;'
'top: 200px;'
'z-index: 1000;'
inside the text box for the CSS.
Is there something I’m doing wrong???
Thanks
Jaume
Hi,
I’m having issues getting the alert to show on my website. I’ve tried disabling other plugins to see if there’s a conflict there, which there isn’t.
Meaning the only other thing that could be causing it could be my theme – but I have absolutely no idea where to start looking!
Enabling debug mode chucks up the alert.
When it’s not displaying, I’ve noticed the cookillian div has a style of display:none;
Please help ??

]]>I hope you can help me. I have just started to use your plugin but I noticed that I have repeated fatal errors in my php error log.
I am running WP 3.5.2alpha and php 5.4.12. The theme is a very basic twenty twelve child.
I have very few active plugins – Bullet Proof Security for one. I don#t have any active caching plugins.
I have the latest Maxmind free geoip data for ipv4 and ipv6.
The errors are

I have the following script for twitter and facebook in the footer script section in the cookillian settings
!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");
(function(d, s, id) {
var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];

js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id;
js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_GB/all.js#xfbml=1";
fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);
}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));
Do you have any ideas what could be causing the fatal error?
Thanks.

Could you add id="eu_cookie_notify"

Hi.
My top navigation has a z-index of 5 (to ensure it stays on top of the other site components, but this means the Cookillian message is partially covered.
I assume if I assign a higher z-index to the Cookillian message, it will appear on top … but where do I add the code?
While I understand html and css (mostly), php is a mystery to me!
Thanks for your help.

Hi there!
I have installed the plugin on a testing server inside a local network. I have gone through all the set up process and it does not show any alert.
