in the version he released; our site crashed. fatal error. i had to disable the plugin.
I went to the forum and he immideaitly fixed the error and updated the plugin within 1 hour. So good that he fixed the problem so fast.

I had a problem with the story formatting on mobile phones. The response to my support request was very quick with a suggestion to add some CSS coding. I did it and the problem was solved.

This plugin produces timelines that do not conform with web accessibility standards, nor does it produce valid HTML markup – it won’t pass the W3’s automated validation tool’s inspection. Use at your own risk.
Update: 4/14/2024. The developers have made noticeable accessibility improvements to this plugin. Keyboard navigation is much improved, being more consistent and intuitive. The markup it generates still doesn’t pass inspection by W3C’s Nu Html Checker which is not great, but the errors don’t trigger a browser’s quirks mode, which would be much worse for accessibility.
Kudos for the improvements, please keep them coming!

Cool Timeline Plugin is cool. Yeah maybe I need more experience with the shortcodes because I created another timeline the same. Could they be easier to create and find…maybe? Other than that, looks awesome and does the job. Neat and tidy!

Excellent plugin for a quick timeline solution, if you need more customization you’ll need the pro version. I rated 4 out of 5 stars because the featured image of the timeline stories deform in mobile devices.

This is a very great plugin, and the strength is that the free version could be all of basic needed but…. but… only administrato can manage this plugin and its contents. So it is unusefull for all those website that have a content manager or content tem who create and manage content.

I am using Cool Timeline Pro to blog the War of the Worlds in Real Time. As a result I am pushing CTP in a way I suspect the developers did not consider. Generally it handles the task well but when it hasn’t, the support team has provided concise, prompt, and accurate advice to resolve my problems.
