This bring much needed CSS class management to the block editor + an entire design Framework system. This allows me to keep a limited set of WP block controls for my clients e.g. font size, colors, while giving my full design control via classes.
At some point it would be nice to be able to limit access to specific user roles.

This is awesome! ?? Thanks for making it freely available for Gutenberg. ??
It’s amazingly easy to manage classes and create custom style variation for items.
I love that it’s class-based and I can edit the class and it applies to the entire website, unlike other editors where appearance and style settings are tied to the element and can’t be edited globally.

I wish I knew about this plugin sooner. It’s a game changer to mange design styles and customization. The interface is sleek. There are plenty options to create and manage CSS classes. It’s integrated with Gutenberg editor.
There’s one thing that needs to be improved or fixed. The dropdown menu where you select the css styles to apply to a design block tends to jump up and down at times making it very tricky to select the menu items. It seems like a buggy Javascript issue. I left a message under support section for there has been no response from the author for a good couple months.

Thank you David!

Excellent plugin. I have just starting using it with Bricks. Highly recommended.

This plugin is awesome in general. However there are several outstanding issues; the biggest of all for me: Gutenberg integration, with it that I and many others have reported. The developers have not been responding to that either here or on their support channel (though recently they explained they had not been receiving notifications for support threads here, so that partially explains it)
I’m still confused as to why my support thread here about the Gutenberg issue was locked while still unresolved without any explanation whatsoever. Mistake?
I do believe they need a better bug tracking system like Github issues maybe. They only have a feature request tracker, which is also used for bugs, but I often do not receives responses from the developers there either. I don’t know how they handle the tickets internally but it seems to me they need to bring in something like Github issues where issues can be labelled or at least some ways for bugs to be separated from feature requests.
Back to the plugin: it’s great and it’s free and I actively use it, so I hope they continue to work and improve it.

If you are using Oxygen Builder on your WordPress site, this plugin should be in your must-have list. The framework makes it so easy to build sites, and the customer support team are friendly, responsive and very knowledgeable. Extensive framework that is easy to use even for beginners.

Amazing framework which can be extended to your personal needs, with a great dashboard and awesome UI.
If you ever wanted to make use of classes or variables within your styles the easy way, CoreFramework is your must have.
But you are not just limited to given global styles – you can just add your own!
This makes it really powerful, maintainable and you won’t never build any sites without. Just love it!

As a beginner developer, my first impressions of using Core Framework were that it was magic ??, helping me to come up with the best ways to solve complex tasks in a short amount of time.

This is an absolutely beautiful way of making your own design system. The component editor is a game changer and I love the attention to detail throughout the app. I hardly build any site without Core Framework anymore, it just kinda inspires me to build beautiful sites.

David Babinec is an outstanding WordPress developer, who created the innovative OxyNinja for the Oxygen Builder. The CORE CSS Framework follows from this and supports Oxygen and Bricks Builders, as paid addons.
The Gutenberg version is free. If you haven’t experienced a CSS framework, you are in for a treat. Using the framework, you can create your global colours, but there’s so much you can do: breakpoints, typography, using a fluid scale, components, spacing, using a fluid scale, layouts and design. To speed up your workflow, CORE supplies its own variables, which you can use “as is” or write your own. In sum, CORE is an excellent, lightweight CSS framework.

This plugin is the ultimate solution for creating fully customizable frameworks. It allows you to disable unnecessary components and customize existing parts to suit your needs. With the ability to tweak or create your own framework, the possibilities are endless. The Gutenberg integration is free and excellent. Additionally, I use it with the Bricks Add-on, and the combination works amazingly well.

I have all 3 versions of Core Framework for Bricks Builder, Oxygen Builder, and now Gutenberg (Free Version – Official WordPress Repository). The Core Framework is a good CSS Framework plugins for wordpress absolutely.
I am a beginner of wordpress developer. I do not understand why Mr. David Babinec is happy to announce the Core Framework get approval as an official open-source for wordpress. That it is meant to all people of the world can use it for free.
We now may forget that the main CMS www.ads-software.com is for free. Nowadays we (including me) are using wordpress to generate income and profit. We are willing to buy expensive plugins then we will sell our web design services at higher price.
So, the word “If you’re good at something, never do it for free.” is not true. Mr. David Babinec and his team have proved it. Thank you.

I think this is a better way to do styling in the Gutenberg editor than attempting to use Tailwind.

I’m pretty new to making sites in general and didn’t really know how having a framework would help. I’m sure I’m not using it the fullest of its abilities but from someone who doesn’t know all that much here’s my favorite features when it comes to incorporating it with Bricks.
Color swatches – You can pick out colors in the dashboard type area and you’ll have a ton a swatches to choose from in the bricks color picker.
Variable font and spacing options – I don’t entirely know how this works but seems better than using REM values for fonts, padding and margin.
Centering options – sometimes I just can’t figure out how to center an element and if I use the class .self-center the thing giving me a problem will usually center up.
Overall I really like Core Framework.

Both works very well together. Styling in core and doing your blueprint oxygen templates with core is a good way to reduce times making your webs, and increasing maybe the quality at the same time. Fluid typography and light / dark switcher will be very easy to add. Having also more possibility in gutenberg is a very good thing for your clients too. Get it.

A good alternative between tools and design integration.

Core Framework has been a great addition to my WordPress toolkit, and what’s really cool is that it’s free! The fact that it integrates so seamlessly with Gutenberg right out of the box is a huge plus. You only need to consider extra costs if you’re looking to integrate with other builders, which is totally fair and opens up a lot of flexibility. For anyone diving into WordPress, wanting a robust and intuitive design framework without the upfront costs, Core Framework is the way to go. It’s made my projects look top-notch without the hassle or the hefty price tag!
