1. How does the plugin identify the CSS that is above the fold?
2. Is it possible to specify the width and height dimensions for the critical CSS extraction? I am particularly interested in optimizing for mobile devices.

Hi. Plugin activated and all URLs optimised according to the settings page. But after a page refresh the coverage tab still shows plenty of unused CSS.

I have this error “Could not write into css file”.

Where does it need write permissions to?

If I have 1000 posts, why the plugin recognize 700?
Maybe is if they are classic or new with blocks? Any idea?

About the delay in 700ms, why this is important, what is the difference in core web vitals? For example if I put 300ms what I gain?
This is the css no critical? Under the fold screen?

In my case stop at 91% or 92% and some failed

Another question what is size deleted? and if I disable the plugin, the web will work well, will delete the critical css?

It seems that it doesn’t load the critical CSS for some reason (#critical-css-for-wp is empty). I use wp-rocket as well and I disabled the optimization of CSS (remove unused CSS ). When I go to page insights I still see the problem with “Eliminate render-blocking resources”.

I already wrote this directly from the plugin option but I was not sure if my emails are working so I wrote here.

I’ve disabled the “Unused CSS” from WP Rocket, although that didn’t fixed the problem. Should I start disabling plugins? I haven’t had the time to disable any plugins becauce I had live visitors at that hour, but maybe can point me where to start disabling?

The plugin processes all pages on the site, although only the type is selected – only ?Home? or only ?Pages?.
I used ?Recheck? and ?Reset Cache?, but the plugin continues to process pages of all types – archives, categories, and so on.
Are other users having a similar problem or is it a problem on my site’s side?
Once processed, pages load much faster. There are no visible problems. The plugin works great for me.

Just installed this plugin tonight. After installing (no errors), I tried to open the admin dashboard (/wp-admin/admin.php?page=critical-css-for-wp) and the page just times out (hits my 30 second php timeout). I haven’t looked into the code at all so I’m not sure what’s going on, but it looks like it either cannot handle large sites or it is getting stuck in some sort of loop. If I have some time I’ll take a look. Thank you for your work!

Secondly, is it possible to add an option that removes CSS delay and load early?

I had to manually fix comment it everytime I install the plugin. Vitals are slightly adjusted but that will be users choice.
Main reason to ask for this change is bcoz the webpage is all broken and stays like that until CSS is loaded.

Great plugin! Works well one downside though is that when processing large amounts of pages on several sites it takes up 100% of our server’s CPU. An option to control CPU and resource usage would make this one even better!

I can tell this is an amazing plugin. It improved my site stats incredibly. Better than the other optimizers and not bloated and bulky like the others. But, it breaks my main nav menu, woocommerce store notice and gdpr notification. I have tried adding a function and filter to exclude specific .css files, but no improvement.

How can I exclude specific .css files? Or is .js also being minimized? Should I be troubleshooting javascript also?
