Super easy to use and great support on the product. If you’re looking to do any type of inbound marketing, this plugin is a must have. I advise you to go Pro and get all the extra functionality. At such an inexpensive price you’d be crazy not to.

When use it as a widget, it displays on other widget and destroys the sidebar..

Wish I could give 5 stars.
Love the idea but the implementation is buggy.

If it was only one or two bugs, I would just go to the support thread and report them.
But during 1 hour of usage, I experienced like 5-6 of them in different areas.
Here are a few examples:
– some properties of some templates cannot be updated
– in order to use images, you have to provide a URL; nothing else works
– the CTA widget blends itself poorly in the page
– destination link of the button is not always getting updated
and so on

it is simply annoying to work when there are so many bugs

Sadly, I will probably remove this plugin.

To begin with I really, really wish I can rate it 5 stars. Because it’s really convenient when it works and when it doesn’t it’ will break your site.

I can’t tell you how many times after a WP update (or updating the actual plugin itself) it breaks something on the site.

I know coding isn’t easy but damn this plugin has let me down many times.

The calls to action show up in search results as if they were pages or posts. This plugin is literally awesome in every other way but this makes it completely unusable! What a huge problem.

I have been using this plugin for few months and very glad to find it among all other plugins. It gives me freedom of vatiety and easiness of creation and it is fast for creating my magnit pages.

Well this review will show that the Inbound Now support team goes above and beyond the call of duty. I sent my first support ticket on a Sunday afternoon and they responded within the hour!! The team worked with me through Monday afternoon back and forth showing me step by step how to trouble shoot my issue. I finally gave them admin access to my site and they found that I had not “checked” the “screen options” boxes for the plugin. Rookie mistake, however Inbound Now never once made me feel foolish and never quit looking for the issue. The CTA Plugin works great. I will provide another review once I dive into really using it on my site and on the landing pages I am developing with Inbound Now Landing Pages Plugin. Thanks Inbound Now!!!

I had some questions about duplicate content created by their plugin, why they were using a temporary redirect to their website and why a particular type of custom category was created.

I was given obvious information, information I already knew (yes they are a custom post type) told that the ‘site scanner’ I was using was giving me false positives (Site scanner is Moz Analytics) and to ask them why.
And then tried to close the question without actually answering what I had asked.

Useless, rude, arrogant and certainly giving me no reason to continue using their plugin.

If I could have given a lower rating I would have.

CTA links redirect to a never ending loop / 404 error.

Problem showed up weeks ago. Several updates dont fix it for long.

You got to check your site every day and update the plugin over and over again.

Does exactly what I was hoping for(made a popup on the home page to link to new sales). No random errors. The only code I know is ‘ bla ‘ and I did it easy.

I plan on trying to make it link to mailchimp and whatnot, but my expertise are limited, but so far Great job.

Sounds great but it adds some code in my homepage instead to just be in my sidebar. It breaks my other styles, no other choice to uninstall.

I have only just discovered CTA but I can see that it’s going to be one of the first plugins I load on my new sites. It’s useful, it has variations, and although I think it might be a tad intimidating for a complete newbie, it’s still not too hard to figure out. Only issue is that it’s a little slow, but I can’t evaluate why because I’m not a systems person; that could well be the rotten state of telecommunications avaialable to rurual Australia.

Furthermore, as others have noted, the support forum is fantastic! Got help with an issue within a few hours of posting. Really great work fellas!

Searching for landing pages I found this plugin and I tried to install it on two different websites that I own, but in both cases there is a fatal error on different lines:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/xxxx/public_html/my website name.com.br/wp-content/plugins/landing-pages/landing-pages.php on line 124

and

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cta/wordpress-cta.php on line 113

This is an excellent plugin for anyone who’s pretty serious about inbound marketing. It does require a basic understanding of what inbound marketing can do for you, and it has a bit of a learning curve.

Once you’ve decided what you want to accomplish, it provides a lot of value. In fact, I’m quite surprised they put it up on Github, I would happily pay for it.

Furthermore, support is swift and excellent. I had a small issue upgrading to 2.0. They even provide some pretty amazing javascript debugging tools as part of the plugin, which makes it a lot easier to determine where your issues are.

If have Landing Pages 1.3 and when I upgraded to Call to Action version 2 it broke all contact forms. I had to reload older version of CTA.

This has made our life so much easier. It cut down instructions in half for our clients.

One item on the wish list – a custom class grabbed from the title name OR a way for the user to add a custom class if necessary. I currently need to give different colors for the call to action widget titles.

Currently CTA widgets get a unique ID, such as #ctatext-1, #ctatext-2, etc.
It is simple enough to make CSS changes by targeting these ID’s, but what happens when users add new widgets, delete and add new widgets (ID# will change). CSS would have to be fixed up in order to preserve widget specific styles.
