Hi folks,
As mentioned in the description of the plugin, I don’t use the WordPress Support Area to monitor queries. Please use the GitHub Discussions section to post your queries.

Best,

I’m getting thousands of error lines on my logs with the following message:
[12-Jul-2023 21:03:45 UTC] PHP Warning: Undefined array key "form-logs-options" in /home/user/public_html/wp-content/plugins/custom-404-pro/admin/AdminClass.php on line 116

[12-Jul-2023 21:04:23 UTC] PHP Warning: Undefined array key "form-logs-options" in /home/user/public_html/wp-content/plugins/custom-404-pro/admin/AdminClass.php on line 116
It seems I’m not the only one with the error, as others have reported the same on this forum.
Are the developers aware and do they have any plans to fix this error?
Thanks.
Unfortunately, I had to disable this plugin until this is fixed. No idea if it’s causing other adverse side effects on my site.

]]>Hi there, first of all thanks for your great plugin.
Also, I apologize for my English, I know it’s not the best…
I would like to fix this issue:
I’ve created a custom 404 page in three languages, using WPML plugin.
The problem is that always (in any language) the wrong URL is redirected to the Italian version of the custom page.
Is there any way to fix it, please?
Thank you.
Our error log at the WordPress root is filled with these errors since 22-Dec-2020 04:09:26 UTC right after upgrading to version 3.2.20.
[13-Jan-2021 05:04:18 UTC] WordPress database error Table 'sycamore_wp.wp_custom_404_pro_options' doesn't exist for query SELECT * FROM wp_custom_404_pro_options made by require('wp-blog-header.php'), require_once('wp-includes/template-loader.php'), do_action('template_redirect'), WP_Hook->do_action, WP_Hook->apply_filters, AdminClass->custom_404_pro_redirect
We would like this fixed or will have to revert to the older version quickly.
]]>Hi, I’m posting here since I cant find page for issues on Github.
When we click Custom 404 Pro on the left menu (logs) we get:
[Mon Aug 10 10:30:38.287796 2020] [proxy_fcgi:error] [pid 32065] [client nn.nnn.n.nn:59563] AH01071: Got error ‘PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted (tried to alloca’, referer: https://our.site/wp-admin/
The site has a lot of traffic, so there are lots of logs – is there a way around this?
]]>Hi support,
For our website we use this plugin to create a customized 404 page. However, the page is not WPML compatible.
E.g. people on the Dutch website (main language) will be send to this 404 page: https://www.geminibv.nl/404-2/. People who use the English website should be send to: https://www.geminibv.com/404-2/
However, people who use the English site are redirected to the Dutch 404 page.
How can we ensure that visitors are directed to the correct 404 page?
Hope to hear from you soon.
Best regards,
Casper
Hi there!
I’ve just got the plugin installed and activated.
I set the mode to display a page, and when it redirects, it sends me to the proper page, but its URL now reads ?page_id=5194 at the end, rather than just the title.
Is there a way around that? I suppose I could just use the URL mode, of course, but I wanted to check in, anyway.
Thanks!
]]>I followed all the instructions to create a 404 Error page in Divi which I would like to use on our website.
However, nothing really happened after I’ve set the new “Oos” page in Custom 404 Pro Settings as our custom 4040 error page and clicked the “Save Changes” button.
It looks like the process was saving updated settings but settings just revert back to None after “the save”. When I tested the invalid URL “https://info.flutracking.net/dummy.html on our website, the custom 404 page didn’t show at all.
This is the correct URL: https://info.flutracking.net/
I would really appreciate your help to get it working.
Thank you.
]]>Hello, when I update the plugin, I get a message of “Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, class ‘AdminClass’ does not have a method ‘custom_404_pro_upgrader’ in public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 286” Can you help me correct this, please?

]]>After updating to version 3.0.0 the plugin does not work anymore. I don’t use the logging, just redirect to custom 404 but the changes are not saved anymore, no matter what I select. It always shows mode “None”. Please resolve that problem. Thanks!

]]>Hi,
Why you do load css file on every web site page?
/custom-404-pro/public/css/custom-404-pro-public.css
Are you sure I really need it even on the main page?
Way be that’s a better way to check server code or page existence and load this css only if necessary?
Than you in advance.

]]>This plugin redirects 404 errors to a new page using 301 or 302 status codes. This is not good in terms of SEO because the crawler does not see this as a dead link and keeps the URL in index.
To the author(s): Please change the way this plugin works, using real 404 status code.
