I do get this error instead:
Refused to display ‘https://m.facebook.com/’ in a frame because it set ‘X-Frame-Options’ to ‘deny’.
What could I do?
On Desktop it is working fine.

The Facebook feed is not updating on the frontend of the site despite being up-to-date in the backend. I have disabled caching on the site and there is no host level caching. I have tried the steps mentioned in another post (marked resolved – but resolution method is not apparent). Editing the short code, etc. Can you advise?

I have connected the Feed and it is working properly, except for all events. All the events have been created by the same Facebook page connected to the Feed, so it should work. This is an example of the post shown on the feed on my website with Smash Balloon. You can see that the events is not showing.
This is what it should looks like :
And you can see here that the event has been created with the Facebook page in public mode.
This event is published by two pages : AFCY Yellowknife and La Fédération Franco-Ténoise. But even for events only posted by our page AFCY Yellowknife, the event is not shown on the feed on our website.
What can be done to solve this?

On a 2nd website of theirs, we are using this free version of this plugin & when we try to connect to the Facebook feed, it only shows the Facebook page from the 1st website feed.
How can we get it to connect to the new page?
]]>Hello, just installed and configured the plugin and everything went fine, except for the post images that are not visible and a placeholder image appear in its place. Right now GDPR is set to NO, so it should load all from Facebook servers. ProPic and follow button work fine.

Some days ago I successfully installed the Facebook plugin but yesterday my client changed the Facebook cover photo and now no photo is displayed on the page. They also created a new post but that does not show either.
EDIT – I just read an answer to another post and having gone to SB > Settings > Feed I found it was already set to 1hr and clearing the Cache has updated the page but clearly I need it to work automatically. I believe the Cron must be working as all plugins get updated when new versions are released. I have no other caching plug in.
Any help you can give will be appreciated.

I want the feed for each page to display on the applicable website property page. Do I have to be made an admin on each of the FB property pages in order to hook up each Smash Balloon feed, or is there an easier way to do this?
]]>When I try to edit a feed it results in a blank white screen (ref: https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/49982416?key=4732b73be194e5f8928f4f13855970fe) with no errors logged in the debug.log. The console however shows an error with the minified vue.js file (linked in page link). I did try a plugin and theme conflict test with only the plugin and 2024 theme active but the results were same. Please advise a solution for the same.

I set up the Facebook feed about a week ago and while it worked, it didn’t automatically update. The only way I could get it to update was to either clear the Smash Balloon plugin cache or re-save the feed. In saying that, I can see the up to date FB posts in the back end, but they do not populate into the front end until Cache is cleared or I save the feed. Why isn’t it staying up to date?
Another unrelated question. I am considering purchasing you plus version to present Facebook Videos as well. Does your Facebook video feed update automatically and will is present live Facebook feeds?

The notice displayed that I needed to reconnect the feed to Facebook. I deleted the feed and recreated it. At one point there was a critical error displayed. The next time I tried to edit the newly created feed, it gave me a completely blank page. Right now, the front end message says it’s showing a cached version of the feed, which is just the header/cover image. I cannot reconnect to the Facebook page. How can we fix this issue?

- Meta has decided to deprecate the Group API endpoint, meaning that it will no longer be possible to retrieve any content from a Facebook Group after April 23, 2024.
For details on this change please see the Meta News for Develops post here. Unfortunately the decision came from Meta and as we use Meta’s services to collect posts, our plugin will no longer be able to support displaying group posts in a feed.

- And if not, is the access token and other needed information stored in the database so I can make my own graph call?
I have already tried to make my own call, and the code below actually works. However, the access token is expiring every 2 hours and I was wondering whether your plugin had an access token updated and stored continuously.

That was true for the outdated version 2 of Borlabs Cookie that isn’t downloadable anymore. The current version 3.x of Borlabs Cookie isn’t supported by your plugin. Borlabs premium support just did confirm that and asked us to tell you about it, so here we do.
Not only your plugin isn’t longer compatible in the sense of its integration with Borlabs Cookie. But there additionally is a browser console error on frontend pages that have your plugin and Borlabs Cookie 3.x installed and your plugin’s GDPR setting set to “yes” (not “no” and not “automatic”):
