1. Export the images directly into the post content, using CFI.

2. Install the Auto Post Thumbnail plugin.

Hi, I am trying to get the CFI meta box to show on custom post type edit screens. I found a script to do it, but I need the meta_id and callback function. I’m pretty lost on this.

Custom Field Images plugin does function better than the post_thumbnail, which is restricted to excerpts only and without a permalink to the post. Custom Field Images provides a permalink to the post and also via a feed reader. I hope this plugin remains listed and recommend it for any other WordPress blog.
