Hello.
I have installed the plugin and everything seems to work fine except for order tracking.
I have the plugin checked to allow tracking with custom numbers, however if I try to track it it tells me that the page was not found, but if I try with the original ID assigned by Woocommerce it works.
Is there any way to fix this? It is very annoying for my clients.
Thanks.
Regards.
]]>Hello, today I have to go back to version 1.7.0.. In version 1.7.1 – 1.8.0 you change the logic when creating the order number when creating orders in the admin zone.
Prior to version 1.7.1, the order number was generated when the order was created. In version 1.7.1 you changed it to create an order number when the order starts to be created (like native woocommerce order numbers). So if I start creating an order and switch in wpml to create an order in English instead of the native language, it skips the order number. Everything is good for us in version 1.7.0.
Can you add an option to the new version when I want to create an order number?
]]>We’ve just switched a shop to HPOS and had some serious issues. All orders were duplicated. One order contains the address but not the ordered items. The other contains the items but not the customer address. In addition to that, the thank-you-page did not show the address. Took us some time to find out that the Custom Order Numbers for WooCommerce plugin caused the problems. After deactivating it, everything returned to normal.
This is not a big deals for us anymore, since we now use a very simple code snippet to add a prefix to the order number. However, you might dive deeper into it. Please note, that the plugin was NOT tagged incompatible with HPOS!
]]>Hi,
I update today my site from Woo 7.7 to 9.1 and everything works fine except that I have messages in Woocommerce orders (notes to order): “Error while changing status. Invalid order.”, “Payment failed. Invalid order.” like I have problem with proper order number. Before that I have message “BPP (IPN) payment completed.” and payment is done. What should I do?
Plugin works fine giving orders a random 10 digit ordernumber, however the post id of that order in the wordpress database keep the same, incrementing by 1 every time. This is not nice since customers can still see this and track how many orders have been placed over time if they are a little savvy. Can the postid of the orders also be changed to the same random order id?
]]>Hello there,
I have installed Custom order numbers for WooCommerce. Version 1.7.0 on WooCommerce version:8.7.0 with HPOS enabled and the WordPress is ver 6.4.3.
Simply installed the plugin and when trying to check settings, I did not see the Tab as expected on the Woocommerce -> Settings page as expected. When i was digging deeper I saw the message “1 Incompatible plugin detected (Custom Order Numbers for WooCommerce).”
Is this a quick fix? Is something missing?
Hoping to see a response, thank you. Pri !

KILLED QUERY (30538 characters long generated in /nas/content/live/biogenesisbago/wp-content/themes/biogenesis-bago/inc/optional/custom-register.php:13): SELECT * FROM wp_users WHERE ID IN
Is there anything that can be adjusted to resolve some of these issues?
]]>Hi there,
I’ve noticed that the sequential order numbering is not working correctly since the last update. Custom prefix is set to “WEBOR”, order numbers counter is set to “Sequential”, and order number width is set to 6.
The last order number before the last update was WEBOR.000262, and the next one was expected to be WEBOR.000263.
However, the next order number after the update turned out to be WEBOR.001498, the one after that was WEBOR.001500 and so on. So it looks like the plugin is now using the picking up all other settings correctly, but the picking up the next order number from WooCommerce instead of using it’s own counter.
Please let me know if you need any other information.
]]>Problem displaying the number of orders I have a problem with order numbering. If I enter an order from the dashboard, it creates the order with the woo id, while if the user creates the order from the woo frontend it takes the custom numbering obtained from the plugin. how can I solve it?
]]>Hello, im migrating a WooCommerce instance. I exported all orders using the WebToffee Import/Export Plugin. The orders are exported to a CSV spreadsheet and includes both order number and ID.
When importing these orders, the order ID is displayed in woocommerce, not the order number.
Is there a way to have woocommerce recognize the order NUMBER that was imported?
Hello,
After enabling HPOS search by order number is no longer working.
Could you please check this issue?

Hi There,
We are getting the following warning in our server error logs regarding the plugin:
KILLED QUERY (60093 characters long generated in /wp-content/plugins/custom-order-numbers-for-woocommerce/includes/class-alg-wc-custom-order-numbers-core.php:262): SELECT post_id, meta_key, meta_value FROM wp_postmeta WHERE post_id IN ([order numbers listed]...
It seems the Query is listing all the original order numbers and due to the volume of orders being placed, it is exceeding the current limit.
We have noticed slow down in the wp-admin area more recently as I’m assuming the more order that are place, the bigger toll it is taking? We also previously reported a conflict with our server’s (WP Engine) Object Caching system which had to be disabled – again, assuming because of the number of orders being placed.
Is there anything that can be adjusted to resolve some of these issues?
]]>Hi,
I have a similar problem to this one > https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/all-order-numbers-reverted-after-update/.
All my previous order numbers were changed after updating the plugin (ver. 1.6.0) AND plugin database. All NEW orders have correct order numbers even after plugin/database update and are in correct sequence to the previous sequence of order numbers which were then changed after update.
I know i have a renumerate option but I am not sure if renumeration will be correct and if this action is reversible if something goes wrong? All orders start with nr.1 every start of the year. My orders range from year 2018.
What is the best way to deal with this situation? I appreciate your help.
Thanks.

]]>Hi there,
We recently updated our site and noticed after updating, the previous orders had reverted back to the default WordPress ID as the Order number instead of the Custom Order number. However, after clicking into the Order, the Custom Order number along with all the customer and order details are resolved. This is primarily shown in the main “Orders” dashboard. See: https://gyazo.com/2b64903ba0d96e7deb0f684e1db29257
Is there any way to resolve this? Would the “Renumerate Orders Tool” fix it without changing the previously established orders?
Note that this appears to only be happening to previous Orders placed on the site. New Orders are working as intended.
Please let me know if there’s any further information needed.
Thanks,

]]>After upgrading to the latest version 1.4.1, the plugin asked me to update database. Then I got an admin message: Database updated successfully. In addition to new orders henceforth, you can now also search the old orders on Orders page with the custom order numbers. Please see the screenshot here, https://ibb.co/sCLpDXY
This message is always there, even I clicked the Dismiss (x) icon.
When I deactivated plugin, this message will be gone. And shown again if plugin is activated.
Would you please confirm this issue and let me know how to fix it? Thank you.

]]>Hi guys!
Can you tell me about possibility to create prefix for order numbering depenging from order language?
E.g. I have 3 languages – DE, FR, IT and all products have a translation in Woocommerce with Polylang.
When ordering DE products I want to use order numbering with mask
1xxxx
For FR – 2xxxx
For IT – 3xxxx
All order numbers will start from unuque digit depending from language code (maybe ID of language)
I have “Order numbers counter” set to pseudorandom, which works for orders created by customers in the shop, and for orders created in the admin panel after saving them.
But when using this plugin to clone orders, the default order id is used instead, and it does not change on saving the order: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/clone-woo-orders-free-by-wp-masters/
Is there a chance of getting it to work here? I could not find an option to renumerate a single order either.
Plugin version 1.4.0.

Can someone help me on this topic ?

]]>Hello! I installed the free version of the plugin. I added a prefix to the orders and it worked well – all of the orders, including the historical, have the new prefix. However, the order number started again at 1. Can I reset the order numbering to a specific number?
Currently, with the new prefix, the orders are SO-WEB-1, SO-Web-2, SO-Web-3 …
I want to renumber to keep the old number series, SO-Web-36917, SO-Web-36918 …
Thank you!

]]>Hi there,
I’ve tried to search but didn’t come across any answers.
What happens to order numbering if I decide to delete or deactivate the plugin? I do understand that new orders will not be processed by the plugin but what happens with the old orders that were processed? Will they revert back to core WC/WP numbering?
And then, if I decide to activate or install the plugin again – what happens? The old orders will show a processed numbering or a core WC/WP numbering?
Many thanks in advance for shining some light on the above.
