But whatever I enter there it is not stored with the post when I press “Update”. The values simply disappear …

]]>Excellent post background plugin – but running into a big issue..
Is there any way to apply post background to the entire width / height of the page? Currently, background applies only to the text. We want to use full page background.
any solution to show image (repeat) across the fixed height / width set in the theme?
thanks!

]]>Hi,
Doesn’t seem to work on my blog. (wp2.9.2)
Custom Post Background correctly appears on post edition dashboard.
Choosing Image from URL but after validating post update with background picture defined still have “Address Web Source: Disable” !
Picture is stored on same blog’s host and url checked.
Btw, when tested with “Image from media” only got a list of two pictures amoung more than 9000 in my blog gallery….
Is there any parameters or anything else to tune before using it ?
Is there any theme limitation ?

]]>Hi,
I was working on this plugin yesterday with no problems, all of a sudden last night the plugin dissapeared from the dashboard..
Its still active in my plugins, and present and correct in my plugin folder, but the settings/control panel for the plugin has dissapeared and I cannot access it whatsoever in my dashboard..
Any ideas?? This is proving to be a headache as I have made changes to my posts, which will take considerable time to resolve manually by code..
Thanks.

]]>No response. nada, nothin.
]]>Hello, it took me a little too long to figure out how this works. However, it’s a GREAT little tool.
I have a WP 3.1 MultiSite with lots of WPMU DEV plugins. I wanted a better page and post look so I activated this plugin. It didn’t work right away because I didn’t understand how the css should be set up. So here’s an example of what I did to both my pages and posts in my main WPMU site.
After you look at your admin panel under SETTINGS, you see “Custom Post Background”, select it.
Then you’ll see all your current posts and pages listed. Select “EDIT” next to the appropriate post or page.
Then you’ll see the control boxes that the developer describes in his screenshot.
Here were my WORKING settings:
Name: It automatically fills this in
Background Source: I didn’t use a graphic, so I have this set to “Disabled”
Repeat: Again, this is for a graphic, so I have this set to “none”
Color: This setting changes the ENTIRE page, including the widget sides of your pages. I wanted my widgets left alone, so I left this block BLANK
CSS: This is where the magic actually takes place! Here’s what I put, and you can copy/paste this into the CSS block and then go from there:
border: 3px #F79E04 solid;
padding: 10px;
background: #ECF4F9;
Display Type: I finally selected “Display Only on Post Page”, as that worked PERFECTLY for me.
Then select the “Edit Background” button to confirm the changes.
I hope this helps give a bit of clarity as far as implementation.
Thank yo so much to the developer of this code. This plugin brings life to an otherwise boring white post or page.

]]>I was just testing this plugin a little bit..
And i have to say it works pretty good only a few things i would like to see..
First:
It would be great if we had a option to add and modify the backgrounds of our posts while we make new posts in the admin add new post screen.
Now we have to vist the settings screen all the time.
Second:
I’m a big sucker off making every post look different and stand out from the basic background so thats why i was searching for a plugin like this but i found one small problem and it would maybe a very big feature to add..
Make it possible to include a custom background also in the loop.
Now when i visit my homepage i get the latest post on a basic background but when i visit the post-page i get the custom background. It would be nice to also have the custom background inside the loop.
But for now everything works fine.. Thanks.
]]>i like the idea of using an image in the background of my posts and i like that i can make it a different image for each post…
i am wondering though, how do i position the image so it’s visible… i’d like to put an image in the lower right corner of each of my posts

]]>Nice work on the plug in. Been trying to figure out how to get a fixed to create a fixed BG for a while before thinking to get a plug in. My question is when using an actual image with the no-repeat function, how do i make the image resize to any screen size? Any info will be greatly appreciated!
