could you guys update this plugin and make it work with future WordPress versions ?? ?????
]]>Hi, I’m back. The last series of updates has made the meta box for CPTR disappear again. The relationships are there, but no way to add/edit them. v 2.5.1, on WP 4.9.5. Please let me know. Thanks
]]>Hi – LOVE this plugin, been using it for a long time. After the latest update to 4.9.1, the excerpts aren’t displaying, just an ellipsis. I checked all the new plugin settings, reset things, not working. Any advice?
]]>Hi, I just updated to 2.5 of CPTR on a staging site, but several things are missing:
– the meta box to add the related posts is missing, so the update kept what was there, but there is now no way to change it.
– it does not display the thumbnail (yes my theme has post-thumbnail support), even with [cptr thumb=1] as the shortcode
Please let me know, I’ve used this for years, would hate to have to find an alternative.
Thanks,
Becky
Hi,
Does Custom Post Types Relationships (CPTR)plugin support wordperss multisite feature?
]]>Wondering if this is by design or that I might have a configuration issue wrong.
When I search for something in the relationship field and add a filter entry the filter isn’t applied when pressing the search button. I need to modify the filter field and then the results are updated on the fly.
The updates are nice, but the fact that nothing is filtered when hitting the search button is confusing to say the least.
Anybody know how I can fix this?

]]>My client has entered HTML tags in the title field of their WordPress pages. Some may frown upon this, but WordPress allows it.
This results some errors in in the CPTR admin interface. Specifically speaking, the title
attribute gets all wonky when these posts have unescaped HTML in their titles.
Here is a quick fix using the esc_attr()
function, provided as a diff:

Everything else about this plugin has worked great, thanks!

]]>Hi.
This is a great plugin, but I have feature request.
It would be great to able to choose in the settings area for which post type(s) this should be used for.
For instance, I don’t need to use this on posts or a couple other custom post types I created. I only need to use this on a specific cpt.
Another less important feature request I have is to be able to change the title name in the panel bar.
Right now it says:
“Custom Post types Relationships (CPTR)”. For many clients who don’t know what cpt is, it would make more sense if it said something like:
“Books relationships” or “Posts relationships”
Again, thanks for sharing this great plugin.

]]>It is a great plugin but clearly more work is done on how to choose the related post and how to organize them (which is really nice!) than how to display the result.
The plugin needs widgets. It also needs an option in the backend to display the result under the post, and also an option to unite or separate the related custom posts base on their type. So for example if A book is related to a writer and an Illustrator they can be listed one after another or listed separately with the titles “Writer” and Illustrator above them. You might want to check this plugin to see how such an interface is designed.
