I was wondering, would it be possible to display a full list of blog posts in post relationship field?

Hi… I’m trying to do the basic of creating a field group. I think I’m doing it right, but after saving it comes back with an error message “Field group registration was not successful ( Id, label, and supports args are required.)

However, I don’t see where to supply them nor what they refer to.

I installed and activated the plugin but it is not visible on the left sidebar of the admin view so I can’t access its features. I tried looking under any other menu item like Appearance, Settings or Users, but nowhere to be found. On your screenshots I see it should say Extend/Manage but no such item is on the menu. How can I find the plugin and open its functionality to create a new post type?

Io ho creato un gruppo di campi e modificando i dati relativi a questo gruppo di campi all’interno di un elemento del post type, non vedo le modifiche nella sezione revisioni.

By creating a new group of fields, when I select the post type to assign, not all those present appear in the list but only some (a few)

I could not find any documentation on importing/exporting. All I see is it is a pro feature. Can it import standard WP export files (XML) or export other custom post types and import them to a new custom post type, – convert post types?

I’m using Custom Posts to display products, and would like to display a taxonomy/category above the title of each product in the custom post feed.

As you can see at the top of the provided page, I’m using regular posts to display 2 products, and was able to have the “Hand-Dipped” category show up above the title.

I cannot find a way to do the same for my custom posts. How can this be done? Thank you!

I have two different post types. For instance one is Companies and the other is Employees.

1 company : N employees

It is not clear to me how to assign N employees to the same company.

I’m using your plugin and I found out there is one thing stopped working after big release 4.0.

1. I create custom field and it’s type of Post relationship
2. I assign it to another post type
3. But – only posts of types of “post” is visible in the listing, not the other types (“page” of custom post types).
   Could you check it please?

Since upgrading to the current version of the Custom Post Types plugin… Everything seems fine when logged in as an Administrator, but when logged in as an Editor, four disruptive “Admin page registration was not successful” notices appear at the top of each screen in the backend. Rolling back reveals that the notices did not appear in version 4.0.8, so it appears to have been introduced in the version after that.

Based on what appears when “See registration args” is clicked in each notice, the args for each are all similar to this:

The affected screens seem to be “Tools & Infos” (id: “tools”), “Templates” (id: “manage_template”), “Admin Pages” (id: “manage_admin_pages”), and “Admin Notices” (id: “manage_admin_notices”).

We do not have a Pro license so we would not be making use of those screens regardless, but we don’t appear to have the ability to hide or disable them. I would imagine that there’s a conflict arising when the plugin attempts to register these “admin_only” pages for a non-Administrator user.

Is anyone able to replicate or provide a workaround to clear those notices? We were able to sweep it under the rug by upgrading the sole Editor user to Administrator, but it would be ideal to keep people’s permissions at the intended levels.

One thing I was not able to solve: translations.

1) If I create new Post type, in advanced view I can translate texts for actions and buttons – Create new, View items, Search items… but even if I put these translations, they’re not present in the created Post types administrations. Could you check it please?

2) I tried to translate your plugin with Loco translate – with without success. Any string I translated – the translation was not applied at all. Could you please check it?

It seems that if I add a File type field to a CPT I cannot add a file when editing a post of that type.

Description:

• Click blue arrow button to select a file for the field
• Click file I want from the WP file chooser
• Click the button “Choose file”
• The file field is not updated and I get a JS console error:

I installed version 4.0.1 on my web and the custom post types I created before are not visible in RankMath settings. They were visible in Sitemap settings or Titles&Meta before (version 3.x.x), but after update they’re not presented here. The same happened with SEO settings on the custom-post editor – the RankMath settings is not visible here.
There is no plugin for cache or something on the page.
Could you please check?

When the standard version is installed, and then the “PRO” version is activated – it removes menu access to the standard version (all menu items are removed)… how can this be resolved ? Or, do I need to get a refund until you fix this ?

Pro Version License key after purchase from your website is not resolving on site, and is still showing as “NOT VALID”.

I created several Taxonomies for my site. I can choose if Taxonomy is hierarchical or not.

1. If hierarchical, when editing post I can see hierarchy of predefined values and I can select several of them.
   It would be good to have option to limit selecting just one of the values.
2. If Taxonomy is not hierarchical, while editing post, all I get is empty edit field so I have to guess values defined for taxonomy. I would like to have an option to have all available options listed and select what is suitable.
   Again, it should be an option to allow selecting just one of the values.
3. When editing post, all custom Taxonomies are defaulted to empty. I have to go to each one and set value. It would be good if there is an option to set default value so when new post is created those values are already assigned to Taxonomies.
4. For some taxonomies I need to force them to have value. It would be good to have that as an option – not to allow taxonomy to be left with empty value.

Maybe some of these things are possible to do, but I cannot find how.

In the backend, the “Add new” label is not translatable. Or better, You can write into what you want, nothing happen.

WordPress /wp-admin does load, but now the custom post types in the left menu only show the New Item submenu, custom field groups are missing.

Tried disabling and reenabeling the plugin, but custom field groups still don’t show up under custom post types.

Also tried removing the custom fields group assignment to the custom post type and put it back, but no change either.

Is there a way to fix this?

do you consider to add possibility to assign field groups (or concrete field, maybe both) on selected post types (pages, posts, CPT) based on the concrete post type selection (e.g. based on name)?

Example:
Now: I can create field group and assign it to pages (some text field for client to update texts outside of the theme or builder). The text field is visible on all pages (= my problem).
Wish: I can create field group and assign it to concrete page (e.g. “Contact”) and call the field “Contact info”.

Do you plan to implement something like this?
