A shame as it did exactly what I wanted it to do but having installed this and set it up I then returned to a page I had been editing earlier only to find all the VC controls missing and the page code ‘missing’ (It was white on white)

I had to deactivate and remove entirely to recover that page. Like a fool I then had another go just to confirm it was this plugin. Only this time that page now seems to have been permanently screwed up in the back end.

Works well – but can I request one small change?

Please remove position 6 from admin menu location as it is conflicting with another plugin.

This is an excellent plugin. Tested with WordPress 4.0, no problem at all.
One caveat, though, is that it may cause a horizontal navbar to show up, or maybe it’s just my settings. Still worth installing and using.
