I am on the latest version on WordPress 6.6.2, when I activate this plugin, nothing appears on the widget page, all other widgets disappear. Could you please help identify what might be causing this issue?
Has anyone else faced the same issue?
]]>After adding a few widgets to my sidebar, they aren’t showing up on the front end. I’ve tried re-adding them, checked display settings, and even deactivated other plugins, but they still don’t appear. Could you help identify what might be causing this?
]]>Hi, Is this plugin compatible with PHP 8.1 and latest wordpress version 6.6.2? I don’t see any update was made since the last year.
]]>Kindly update the plugin, it is throwing up warning messages on security plugins.
It is more than a year since the last update and more than 100k people are using it.
I am seeing this as a disaster waiting to happen.
]]>Hello,
Can you guys in your next update, allow the removal of the message to install the official classic widgets plugin? Like an X in the corner to remove it from showing within the WordPress Dashboard.
The three themes I use already disable the block editor/gutenberg widgets edit screen by default. So there is no need for me to install Classic Widgets plugin.
But I can’t remove the message since there is no way to x it out.
Thanks,
Mark
]]>Hi, Thank you in advance for such a helpful plugin and I’m sure the 100,000+ installation users feel the same! Please consider issuing an update soon, even if it’s just to refresh the date to prevent WordFence flagging.
Thank you!
]]>Having some issues with Themify and getting sidebar to show on the front page. Just not working has it has for long time.
All I see is:
(image will not post)
As Footer Widget 1 for selected Archive Types As Footer Widget 2 for selected Archive Types As Footer Widget 3 for selected Archive Types As Sidebar for selected Archive Types As Social Widget for selected Archive Types
Now I see the plugin support is not being answered and no updates? I hope that the plugin will still be good for years to come, extremely useful.

]]>We’ve noticed that some widgets in the sidebar of our WordPress website keep disappearing randomly. Can you assist us in troubleshooting this issue and ensuring that the widgets remain visible?
]]>Hi, is anyone able to help with a problem we’ve got with a Woo Shop page displaying the theme default side bar instead of a custom sidebar: https://italiangreyhoundrescuecharity.org.uk/shop/
the sidebar we want it to display is the one showing on all of our product pages e.g. https://italiangreyhoundrescuecharity.org.uk/shop/car-sticker-ig-rescue-charity-logo/
Custom Sidebars were working 100% fine. Then we installed Woo to set up a small shop. Created a Shop page and assigned the custom side bar we required. Then in Woo, we had to assign a default shop page. The moment we assigned the Shop page as the default in woo, the sidebar reverted to the default theme sidebar.
There is guidance on the Shop page edit screen now that says
“To change the sidebar for WooCommerce Shop
Go to the Widgets page
Click on “Sidebar Location”
Open the “Archive-Types” tab
Choose “Products Archives” “
Tried to follow this but it does not work – no “Products Archives” show up, only “Product_cat Archives” and “Product_tag Archives”. If we sleect either or both the sidebar stil ldoesnt work.
Would be greateful for any help.
Thanks!

]]>If this plugin is activated, Ajax requests in the WordPress backend are no longer executed simultaneously, but one after the other.
I tested this by sending Ajax requests with an artificial, server-side waiting pause (with php function sleep). First I send a request that takes 10 seconds and immediately afterwards one that only takes 1 second. Normally, the second request is successfully completed before the first and shows a duration of just over one second in the dev console. The first request is terminated after approx. 10 seconds.
If this plugin is activated, one request is processed after the other, i.e. the second request is processed after the first has been completed. In the example, the second request takes more than 11 seconds (10 seconds of the first + 1 of the second).
Do you have any idea why this might be? Is your plugin changing some global property of the XHR request?
I have now deactivated the plugin because it causes enormous performance losses when working with other plugins in the admin section.

]]>Dear team, thank you for the great work with this plugin.
I would like to ask if it is possible to add a filter where we can replace custom sidebars based on if a user is logged in/out?
That would help a lot with website owners who want to present different sidebars when a user is logged in and different when not.
Thank you again and feel free to close this ticket if it has been discussed somewhere else. I couldn’t find anything.

Once you have the plugin activated you will find all new features inside your “Widgets” screen! There you will be able to create and manage your own sidebars.
NO. Now, when I go to Appearances > Widgets there is a blank screen!

It says in the Widget Area ‘Custom Widget Area #1’, and then ‘display this widget area… etc’, but I can’t figure out if this is working ok…
Some UI strings without correct I18N code so they cannot be translated, I paste the modified code here since I don’t find this plugin’s GitHub repository.

In Woocommerce, there is a widget of “Filter product by Attribute”, and if create a new page by Woocommerce shortcode like [products limit=”8” columns=”4” category=”T-Shirt” paginate=”true”], then assign Widget to the page, the widget will never show up.
So, is there a way to enable the “Filter product by Attribute” to work on the custom product pages?
Thanks

]]>Hello,
It seems lots of people are having issues with the plugin recently. Our issue is that when we click to create a new custom sidebar, click to edit an existing one or click on ‘Sidebar location’ to move a sidebar, a pop-up window appears and just hangs.
Does anyone else have this issue? Have you solved it? Is there an alternative plugin that someone has used that we can switch to?
Many thanks
]]>I have been using the plugin for many years and have always been happy. It gave me the possibility to add individual sidebars with specific information to my blog posts. I even refer to these in the posts and link to the sidebar.
I currently create my blog posts with Gutenberg and the pages themselves with Divi and the theme Extra. And all of a sudden, all the sidebar content in the front and back end has disappeared and now they are in the area of the inactivated widgets.
But there don’t seem to be any more answers here either, so you can assume that the plugin is probably dead. Very sad. It’s going to be a lot of work to restore.

]]>Hello,
I am trying to add visibility to custom sidebar created using plugin.
But is hows only post categories and not product categories
How does one apply a custom sidebar to a search results page?
I’m using WordPress v6.0.3, Avada v7.8.2 and Custom Sidebars v3.35.
In the custom sidebar’s “Sidebar location” -> “For Archives”, I tried:
As “blog” with “Search results”
As “blog sidebar with “Search results”
as “generic” with with “Search results”.
None allowed the sidebar to display.
