We bought this five months ago and worked with it for hours only to learn that it is broken and there was no fix planned.
Last week, thinking that the problem was fixed, we purchased again but were disappointed the problem still exists and there is still no schedule for a fix.
Why is Smash Balloon still advertising and taking money for a product that hasn’t worked in months?

This plugin was installed on a website of a client. The X feed normally does not work anymore since X has closed the doors for people without a account. However the website of my clients was suddenly hacked, new emails arrived with “new user added” which where full blown admin accounts. After 2 scans and cleanup, things looked OK again, till the next morning. Certain plugins where disabled, one was installed. We changed the admin password yesterday including database details and such.
After deleting above and inactive plugin, the adding of sudden new admin user accounts, stopped. I think this plugin is abandoned, or someone is having access and installing malicious backdoors. Please prove me wrong!

Disappointed that this doesn’t work because the X (formerly known as Twitter) developers site’s code for embedding the timeline doesn’t work at all. This plugin was hopeful in that the timeline appears in a sidebar widget on the website but it only shows retweets of followed X accounts that appear in the account’s feed. It doesn’t show any tweets done by the account. It also takes at least a week to even show a retweet that was done so it isn’t timely for those. Certainly not worth spending money on the pro version that would allow you to include more than one timeline if it can’t show the basic function. I’m not interested in including other timelines anyway–just show my own.

I had an issue with my feed: it was not updating. A support rep gave me clear instructions to diagnose and fix the problem. They did this even though I am not a paying customer.

The plugin is easy to use and has good options to customize but it is still useless for me. My latest tweets will not be shown on my website unless I use the Pro version. There is only a sync once a week. I recognized this after installing and configuring the plugin. This important information should be shown more transparent. Without this feature I do not really see an advantage of using it.

I am (trying) to like this “pro” plugin to post timely information for upcoming events for our high school athletic department widget but it is so unreliable, i.e: retweet something at 7am for a 6pm game that same day, and half the time it shows up on the widget well past game time, if at all.
My caching plugin is disabled, and the interval in the Smash’ settings is set to update 8am and every two hours with a Note: Your site will receive up to 12 daily source updates.
Yeah, sure it will. Save your money on this junk.

I used to use the Feed Them Social plugin for Twitter feeds. It broke and no longer works so I needed to find a replacement that was quick to install and easy to use. FOUND IT! Custom Twitter Feeds…and the plugin support is exceptional. Response within a couple hours. A must have plugin for social media feeds on WP pages!

I’ve used this plugin on multiple client websites. It works well and has enough styling options to present well enough and in a cohesive way on their websites. We’ve had a few issues – but they have always been brilliant at solving these issues. Very strong on customer service! Would recommend.

This is a really good widget. I just wish it would work in real-time. 30 minutes is the quickest refresh.
