This author did a good job. I was looking for an alternative of gravatar to change administrator profile pictures & fortunately found this plugin. It’s free! Awesome!

CMS users should always be able to upload their own image, not be chained to an avatar service or some avatar set. This little plugin lets all our members effortlessly add their own photo. Super handy plugin!

Cool feature when one does not have or want to create an avator to use as profile photo.
Works out of the box and does what it promises.
Thanks!

Place <?php get_cupp_meta($user_id, $size); ?> in your templates
How do I access my templates on WordPress? I’m afraid I’m an amateur and know very little. I would love some more detailed instructions.

Does exactly what I need easy to use and to implement into site

It doesn’t show avatars by default on my theme. Added the code to a template and photo showed. But can’t have it retrieved by buddypress which outputs the avatar like this:
<img src=”/wp-content/uploads/avatars/26/254fa159e1c3d19a9b645beb22d97d86-bpfull.jpg” class=”avatar user-26-avatar avatar- photo” width=”460″ height=”460″ alt=”Avatar Image” />
I want the avatar to upload to /wp-content/uploads/avatars/$user_id
$user_id folder is created on the fly after the user uploading the avatar
Thank you for your support

I implemented this into my website to make a custom authors list page, and had a few issues (my own issues) customizing the code to make things work the way I wanted… anyway, The plugin creators got back to me and helped me out. Couldn’t ask for more!

Simple to install and get it working from the user profile page only. No extra settings. You win my point.

I am facing issue with Multisite. i have using network activate. when i am uploading user photo from network users. its not displayed in sub-sites users section. please solve it ASAP. it must be work with network activate. i want to upload image only once, if we have to activate one by one in each site then its take too much time to uploading same image in all sub-sites.

I can upload an image in the Users section of the WordPress backend, but it does not show up in the user’s profile. Basically, it does not do anything.

Hello
I am trying to add a new user image…another writer. The image and their name doesn’t show up under the article? How do I fix this?
Thanks

It does not shows profile images when my user comments on site…

The network activate feature on WordPress Multisite seems to hide this plugin from all network members, instead of install it. If there’s a fix for this I’m not aware of, please let me know. Otherwise I’d give this plugin 5 stars.

Was having a problem with authors’ pictures on my site – this solves everything nice and quickly, without much complexity. Thanks!

This installed and worked fine for me no problem. Great plugin to make it easy to add a photo for different users.

This is pretty much what I was looking for and it installs and works well.
My only issue is that you have to update your profile page in order for your image to appear. Whilst this is ok for me as an experienced WP user, some of my members aren’t as savvy and won’t read the little line that tells you to update your profile in order to see your picture! Yep, sounds counter-intuitive but I’m sure you know how people can be sometimes. It would be nice to see the image appear as soon as you hit ‘select’.
Other than that, thanks for the work on this, it’s saved me an hour having to hack around and insert my own upload field in the functions.php file.

Wanna have different images as avatar AND photo of each user? That is what Youre seeking.

Need a way to add and use a custom photo for your authors, managed in WP instead of another site? Look no further!

Works as described and intended. Useful for those folks who don’t want a gravatar account or want a customized author photo.
