I wanted a widget to allow people to log into a wordpress site that didn’t involve extra login/logout pages and redirects to the incorrect location.

This widget allows a user to

• know at a glance if they are logged in or not
• after logging in, they remain on the same page they started in (ajax login support)
• after logging out, they remain on the same page they were on
• displays different content depending on the login state.

Perfect and simple.

This plugin saved me from custom coding a login page for my clients and works like a charm! Highest recommendation.

This does exactly what it says. I didn’t like the Meta widget which includes a www.ads-software.com link, and RSS links which I don’t use. Also, it allows the user to login from the widget, effetely bypassing the login page.
