I’m unable to use the plugin after updating to WordPress 5.0.2 today! I’m running the free version of CYSTEME, receiving the error message “Unable to connect with backend” I have logged out and back in – I deleted the plugin and started over with no change.
Thank you for your help!

Hello I would like to help me, my client has a dedicated server so I prefer to modify the files with this plugins but when I access I encounter this error
Invalid backend response.
The data is not in JSON format.
What I can do ?
Hello, I would like to know if at the moment of entering the plugin this can have a special password, since another person can enter and delete all the files from his plugin. I would like to know if you can add a password when you log in to FTP.
Also I would like to know if inside the folder can be ordered by the headers. Because currently I click on the headers to order by date or name and it is not doing.
Hi,
I want to edit a .css file from the CYSTEM but I cannot save it.
This is the message that appears.
Unable to save “Fichiers du site/wp-content/plugins/newsletter/subscription/style.css”
Any idea what to try?
Thank you in advance,
Eleni
It’s an wonderful plugin suddenly gone missing from WordPress repository. Fortunately, I have an offline copy that I can upload & use, but what happened to it?

I thought I found the right CSS class to edit, but it’s just not working.
.ui-state-default, .ui-widget-content .ui-state-default, .ui-widget-header .ui-state-default {
background: #696969;
}
Can you tell me what to edit to fix the background on the button bar and the folder tree?
Thank you!
Hi! Thanks for this awsome plugin. My question is: is it possibly to get a wysiwyg editor when on html files I right-click and choose edit? It would save me a lot of copying files to desktop and then back. Thanks!
Hi
I’d really like to try this out, but after installing (WP 4.5.2)using the plugins manager, when I go to Cysteme under Settings I just have a blank page with:
CYSTEME, Web Sites & Solutions – Linux Expert – CRM & Messaging CloudOffice – Online files management software CloudFiles, Finder
The PRO version offers cloud space for users and protected shares in an improved interface for only 15€ ! Create cloud spaces for your users, shared spaces with customers, with custom read/write access, in a single page or post with a simple shortcode
at the top of it.
Is there any other configuration that I have to do please?
Many thanks
I had alot of these redirection error on Redirection plugins log, with referrer was from my domain, by an external IP, at time when the plugin is not activated / used:
/wp-content?/plugins?/cysteme-finder?/js?/i18n?/elfinder.en.js?ver=6102451c1e0cda0169…
Can you explain what is this means / how this happened ?
And how to avoid these 404s ?
Thank you.
Plugin works good and much faster than https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/file-manager/
Only a little tuning of the directory sidebar please:
1) Root directory is shown as “Fichieres du site” (untranslated)
=> please translate it or – better – show real directory name (e.g. “.htdocs”)
2.) Directory names are shown as white text on dark-grey ground (Theme Twentysixteen) On mouseover a black overlay indicates selection – and makes the selected directory name nearly unreadable.
+ Request:
Are there any options for a chunked file up-/download to handle small filesize hoster restrictions?
Hi there! GREAT plugin, I use it all the time.
However, there is a visual bug when used with the plugin WP Lightbox 2. Its jquery-ui.css gives the left navbar a background color of #f6f6f6 due to it being loaded after CYSTEME’s theme.css
To fix this, just add !important here:
.elfinder .elfinder-navbar { background:#333333 !important; border-radius: 0px !important; }
Sharing here in case anyone else is running into this issue.
Would recommend you look into this for the next plugin update. ??
Is there a file size limit when downloading? I tried to download some files >200MB in size and nothing seems to happen. I have no trouble downloading smaller files.
Hi,
I was trying the plugin in localhost. It got installed & activated properly. On access from Settings -> CYSTEME Finder at the admin panel, it is showing “Unable to connect to backend. Access denied” and have only a ‘close’ button.
The wordpress installation has only one admin user. No security or caching plugin is installed.
Any idea why it is happening so? and how to overcome the problem?
Hello,
I really appreciate your plugin and what it provides out of the box. I was wondering if there was a way to create hidden files? Either through a UI or a naming convention (on Windows it’s .filename. but that’s an invalid name on CYSTEME).
Thanks,
Svetlana
Hello,
I used the free version first to test everything but the Zip/Unzip function wasn’t working: See: https://prntscr.com/93ifdn
I went ahead and purchased the pro version thinking that this may be a limitation to the free version. I installed the pro version and It’s still an issue. Can’t create archives ( after selecting folders and/or files )
Can you help please?
Hi,
is there a way to insert images into Posts or Pages using you Finder?
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am unable to use the extract or archive feature of the plugin. Is this available only in the Pro version?
Thank you very much for your time!
Hello,
here are a few option I think you might consider for a future release:
1) a ‘two windows’ option (as a classic file manager), so that FTP is more intuitive;
2) a file permission view in number (i.e. 0444, 0755,…)
3) a file permission option to set manually permissions in numeric mode.
Thanks in advance.
Pier
Hello,
I found your plugin I and tried it to simplify FTP activity.
I notice that CUT and DELETE option don’t work and sometimes crash.
Anyway very interesting plugin.
Bye.
