Is it possible to add an option to allow listing of all subdirectories under a parent directory?

For example: list the size of all the directories under “uploads/2016”.

I love the way I can add my own folders using the format:
My custom Backups | ~/wp-content/mybackups

But it would be particularly cool if I could add a file wildcard, so I could do the following as well:

Uploads – Just my JPG files | ~/wp-content/upload/*.jpg

Thought it might just work…but it doesn’t. Is there a trick to it or is not possible?

Hello – Taking the plugin for a spin. Seems to instantly spit out size for WP Database, plugins and themes but then gets hung up on uploads. Is there a limit on uploads? I just get a spinning wheel. Thanks in advance!

Since the German language files I had provided you earlier on had to be removed with the advent of the mixed blessings of WP’s new translation server, I recently undertook the tedious, error-prone task of filling in anew both the German as well as the German (Formal) text strings.

If there isn’t already someone else volunteering, you may, if you will, have me added as language validator for Dashboard Directory Size.

I’m just wondering about this – I’ve got 2 sites that my host informed me are 1.5GB & 2GB.
Yet your plugin shows them both as 1GB.

Perhaps a setting for format GB/MB or decimal point place count would be nice ??

I can give two suggestions?
– Allow choose which user levels can see the data
– Show the total size (the sum of folders)

I noticed that Dashboard Directory Size is translation ready, which is great. – I also noticed that it doesn’t come with a .pot file, which is unfortunate. Back in the days, I used to use the Codestyling Localization plugin to generate missing language files, but I’m not proficient enough in using the latest version of POEDIT to generate them from source.

If you could provide a .pot file for Dashboard Directory Size, I’d be more than willing to supply you with German .po/.mo files. In fact they’re sitting here on my desk.
