Since updating to the latest version of Beaver Builder, Dashboard Welcome for Beaver Builder plugin no longer works.
It works fine with BB 2.8.2.2 but stops working when you update to 2.8.3
Did something change to prevent it from working? I noticed your plugin hasn’t been updated for 9 months.
I wish this feature was a part of Powerpack, for which I am a long term customer.
Please advise.
Thanks
David
]]>I’m seeing several errors related to this plugin, when I upgrade to PHP 8.
Deprecated: WP_User_Query::__isset(): The property query

It looks like it’s centered around: class-dw-admin.php:228
Would be great if this was available for Bricks Builder.
]]>Looks like there is a conflict with the latest release of Bit Integrations. The dashboard only shows for the Admin user role.
]]>Hi
Like the title says, when I activate Dashboard Welcome I can’t access Beaver Builder advanced setting anymore.
]]>I haven’t been able to get this to work. Can anyone confirm if it still works?
]]>Hi, Note that if you don’t add a background to Dashboard Welcome for Beaver Builder since Worpress version 5.9, two images from the WordPress Welcome screen are displayed in the background.
.welcome-panel {
background: #2271b1 url(images/about-texture.png) center repeat;}
.welcome-panel::before {
background: url(images/about-header-about.svg) no-repeat center;
}
This changes significantly the layout and make text difficult to read. To correct this we have to add a background colour to the layout and make sure the rows in the layout are full width.`
]]>I created a row in Beaver Builder using Google webfonts. The strange thing is that the color and size are correct, but the font itself is changed to the default font used in the back-end. Is there an issue keeping the formatting in the back-end or is it just me?
]]>The BB layout I’m using for the Dashboard works great including Themer Coonditional Logic to display or hide items depending on the user Role.
But one simple thing eludes me. I’m using a Heading module where I’m trying to insert (as opposed to Connect) via the Themer Connector the logged in User Name. For example:
Dashboard for [wpbb site:user_name type='firstlast' link='no' user='current']
When I save that, the correct user name shows up while editing the layout and upon publishing the layout. However when I actually go to the Dashboard, the shortcode is NOT rendered and I only see “Dashboard for” as the heading.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there a problem with this plugin not being able to render a BB shortcode in the Dashboard, or do you think it’s a BB/Themer bug?
]]>This is a wonderful plugin but it hasn’t been updated in a year…which makes me nervous to keep using it…could you tell me if it is going to remain current and safe to use?

Is the plugin compatible with WP MultiSite?
Beaver Builder is compatible.

]]>Hey there – love the idea of having info for clients on their dashboard!!!
BUT – it’s just not showing up at all…
I have: Beaver Builder plugin and theme – most recent versions
Created a template called ‘Dashboard Welcome’, went to Settings>Beaver Builder>Dashboard Welcome and chose the template for Administrator use…all looks simple but not appearing…
Hi,
This seems like a great and easy plugin to use. I use PowerPack so this seems like a great option. However, I created a page for admins and a page for contributors and when I login with either, I get the page twice one on top of the other. I’m using Beaver Builder, Beaver Theme, Beaver Themer and PowerPack.
Any thoughts?

No support comments for 8 months.
Sadly, it looks like this plugin unsupported.
Deactivating and deleting.
Shame because it’s great.

]]>WP 5.0.3
Beaver Builder 2.2.0.6
Beaver Themer 1.2.1.1
Dashboard Welcome 1.0.6
I’m using the Beaver Builder Theme and used the Customizer to predefine the default paragraph font, header font, color etc.
Since I’m using Beaver Themer and Builder to create the template for Dashboard Welcome, I would expect that all formatting and the visual result from Beaver Builder will be used and visible in the WP Dashboard.
In practice, the font chosen, margin, padding etc. is not honored and I really need to double specify everything inside the Beaver Builder modules before it’s actually applied.
Is there something wrong on my end, with my expectations of the behavior of the plugin or is this really how the plugin works?
]]>I activated the plugin on a multisite installation, created a template on the main site, went to one of the sub-sites and set template as the dashboard, logged into that site as another user that should see the custom dashboard and it appeared. Made various edits to the page, everything was working fine. I then realised the settings also appeared on the network dashboard, so I changed them there for all sub-sites and clicked the checkbox to prevent the settings showing on the sub-sites. When I saved the settings, the checkbox was unchecked, and wouldn’t remain checked. When I went back to the sub-site and logged in as a user that should see the dashboard, it now doesn’t show, and the “Welcome” option isn’t in the Screen Options tab. I’ve tried disabling and even uninstalling the plugin, nothing will make it work again after I tried to set the networkwide settings.
Any suggestions?
]]>Is there going to be an update soon for this? I love using this on my sites but it seems to break the dashboard now ??

]]>So I built this site using Beaver Builder lite and other beaver builder plug ins on the Quest theme. Well some how the Pace visual editor plugin got added to the site. It over wrote Beaver Builder as best I can tell. I removed it but have not been able to get Beaver Builder back. When I try to reinstall the plug in it tells me “installation failed: destination folder already exists.” But it isn’t there. I would very much like to get it reactivated because it makes it much easier to update and change things. Not to mention the stupid Pace plug in DELETED all the formatting and coding that was previously written. Has anyone had this issue? And is anyone able to help me correct it?
]]>Hi,
I have installed the welcome dashboard, but it appears twice on the page. I don’t have two rows. I am using Visual Composer on the site and BB just for the welcome dashboard. Could this explain the issue?
Thanks
]]>I’d like to translate the plugin to my language.
Can you make it ready to i18n/l10n?
Thanks in advance!

I have set the dashboard up on regular sites without any issues but I’m currently working on a site with a left menu and this seems to be breaking the CSS as everything is shifting to the left in the window, any suggestions>
]]>Hi,i’d like to use your plugin with Adminimize but i think i found a bug. https://it.www.ads-software.com/plugins/adminimize/
After installing your plugin the settings I used on adminimize for the dashboard are reset and i see everything i would like to be hidden along with the template. This happens for every type of user, even without selecting it in the panel.
User Editor Pro allows users to select which meta boxes to disable. This includes disabling them on the pages, posts, or dashboard pages. When Dashboard Welcome for Beaver Builder is active all these meta boxes that are selected to be hidden are displayed. When I deactivate Dashboard Welcome for Beaver Builder everything works.
Tested by only having both these plugins installed.
]]>First off, thanks for creating a super plugin. Secondly is there a way to have the opening header greet the user logged in?
]]>Are there plugin conflicts I don’t know about? I have a template created and I have it selected in the Settings | Page Builder | Dashboard Welcome as the Selected Template. My Dashboard still shows the usual widgets (Activity, Quick Draft, At a Glance, etc)
What’s up? Is there more to it than this?

]]>The issue in the previous support thread (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/conflict-with-google-analytics-dashboard-for-wp-2/) still exists though it is marked resolved.
With the Dashboard Welcome plugin active, GADWP widget will not load analytics content. The widget it present, just no content.
Any idea why this is happening?
