I suddenly got an alert from WordPress that it has deactivated Decon Character Counter because the plugin file doesn’t exist. I can’t find the plugin in my list of plugins. But the info in the Add New plugin page says that I have the latest version of the plugin installed and inactivates the install link.

Hi Is it possible to see the post title character count in quick edit or is it something you plan to do in the future.

This plugin is exactly what I’m looking for – counting characters for both Title and Content on posts…

I don’t see anything like the “screenshots” you have provided. I simply activated the plugin. I didn’t see any further steps. Any help would be great.

I really like this plugin and have been using it for the past month.

Just discovered a javascript bug that sometimes appears in the Console:

TypeError: $(…).val(…) is undefined
