FALSE ALARM!!

The issue was not with WPD, but rather the caching plugin serving 3 day old content from when I first set up the site.

Be careful when using cache and setting up/updating your website!

During the process of troubleshooting and verifying how WPD works, I discovered a critical security issue.

I have informed the authors of the exact nature of the issue. I won’t publicize the problem unless they decide not to fix it.

I will tell you one way to prevent your site from being hacked or being attacked by bots. You should get a security plugin and change the login method to email address only, NOT the user name.

Let’s be clear: you should not be logging into your website using the user name because it’s not secure (well, it’s secure for you, but will leave your site vulnerable).

All versions after version 1.7.2 break the DIVI visual builder. I had to roll back to 1.7.2 to get it to work again.

I am addressing people who use this plugin as well as developers. (already made several tickets without positive result)
Since the last update, I have been struggling with it! It is a real disaster… So if people also have problems like me and have solved it? please tell me how you did it.
The plugin extremely slows down the backend (the whole backend). And when finally, we get to editing a recipe, sometimes it works very slowly and no matter what we do “database connection error” and there, nothing! forced to deactivate the plugin via FTP by renaming it to be able to access the backend and return to a previous version, and everything works again!
Even by deactivating all the plugins, it is the same thing. Deleting several non-essential plugins, cleaning the database of old plugins that are not completely uninstalled! Nothing works!

On the recipe course “breakfast” page, it mentions 28 results, 10 are shown on the page but there is no pagination to show the next pages.

When i try to edit a recipe, as soon as i delete a sentence, the link save becomes inactive and i have this message :

Recipe settings has been changed. Please save the changes from Recipe Settings section before updating the recipe.

But i already saved the settings and it changed nothing

Wether import a CSV or JSON file. If it’s JSON, does converting CSV to JSON using online tools is enough?

On the recipe page, when posting a review, the 5 stars are by default selected, the reviewer will then logically think that the rating will be 5 stars. However, if the reviewer does not manually deselect and reselect the 5 stars then the stars rating will not at all appear on the review of the recipe, only the comment will. Could you please make sure that the 5 stars are taken into account without the reviewer having to deselect and reselect it if he wants to put a 5 stars rating? That would be logical and most important we will avoid missing many star ratings which are the most important to attract other users.

I just updated to the latest version and I notice that the featured image has disappeared on the recipe cards, it is however activated in the settings. And in these settings the backup is impossible to do, the button is inactive!

Hello! I have a problem: I bought the plugin and unfortunately the translation into German is not yet 100%. I had inserted the dashboard into a block, unfortunately a lot of it is still in English and wanted to change this, but to do that I would have to somehow change this shortcode? I’m rather inexperienced. How can I customize the text and design here? Is this somehow possible with WordPress or do you have to have programming knowledge for it? How do I translate this myself or even insert another text? Thank you

I am working on new version of my website. Using Kadence Theme. Currently is on staging area, hence link.
The problem I have, that when I click on one of tags, it goes to search website with those tags, but the results seems shifted up towards under main site bar.

I did try fix it with css by shifting the content:

I’m facing an issue with WP Delicious and Block Themes like Twenty Twenty Four.

Published recipes are not displayed with the template selected in the website editor if a block theme (e.g. default theme: Twenty Twenty Four) is selected. Instead, the ‘single-recipe.php’ template of the recipe plugin is used and cannot be customised. The same can be observed with other block themes.

I tried to create a custom template in the website editor using a block-theme for the Custom Post Type recipe, but that didn’t work either.

I have used the What the file plugin to check which template is loaded.

If you use a theme like generatepress, the recipe is displayed correctly. (The plugin template is also loaded, but is compatible with this type of theme)

I have not found any solutions in the documentation or in the support forum. There are also no settings for compatibility with block themes in the plugin settings.

It currently looks like block themes are the future of WordPress – it would be very good if the plugin supported this type of plugin.

the personalized seasons do not work correctly, the sections already in place are not translated and when I add the section translated into my language (e.g. spring in my language) on certain recipes, I cannot save and update the recipe, the backup does not take place and the update button remains grayed out! While you check this, I’ll go back to the previous version!

I installed your plugin on my WP blog. Before installing your plugin I have deactived “classic editor” because i have read it could be interfere.
Unfortunately, I have no recipe settings available which means I can’t use your plugin.
I have a theme called “Impreza” and I use WPBakery as PageBuilder (but this actually shouldn’t matter, right).
In addition, I have added an own page (Rezepte) where I would love to list all these entries – if I can add the recipes values in the backend.

1) How to display the recipe settings in backend (so I can enter recipe data)?
2) How I can list the recipes on my own created page within my personal blog? It would be great to have an own CPT.

I would really love to use and test your plugin.

I have a clean install of wordpress and wp delicious plugin installed. As soon as I activate the plugin, the entire admin environment becomes very slow. I also tested older versions of the plugin and the slowdown started from version 1.4.7.
Version 1.4.5 works very fast and without problems.
How can I solve this?

Hello, Some translations cannot be done either with loco translate or with Better Search Replace.
I have to edit directly in the plugin source files and after an update I have to start again, from the version. 1.6.0.
On the “Leave a Comment to” recipe card in the file: “src\DeliciousPublic.php line 334”.
In Login “Not registered yet?” in the file “templates\account\form-login.php line 54”
and on the “Register Now” button in the file: templates\account\form-registration.php line 74

Since the last update which fixed the block by taxonomy problem, which is perfect. But when I wanted to add a recipe today, I noticed the improvements made in the extension and the unit of measurement section (cl, ml, kg, g, etc.) disappeared in the settings and replaced by suggestions, but no way to add more or change the language as was the case before the update! Can you see this problem? Thank you.

I have a problem with the recipe cards, I don’t have the related articles section at the bottom of the pages like in the native WordPress articles.
I also have another problem on my home page on which I use the “Recipes by taxonomy” block to display my recipes. When I want to modify the Taxonomy Term and I update the page, nothing happens, the page does not update and remains on the old taxonomy term which poses a problem.

First of all, thank you for this beautiful Delicious Recipes plugin, as well wonderfully narrated and well explained Youtube tutorials on the Youtube channel “Kraft Plugins”.

Unfortunately , when I try to add a new recipe, the Recipe Settings section won’t open.

So, in the admin dashboard, in the section for creating a new recipe, I see the place for title, and description . Then comes the section Recipe Settings, but it won’t open. There is no way to use it.

I am using OceanWP Child Theme.
