Saldy there seems to be a bug during export since activating the download button lead to the site “Press This” and “install Press This” instead of retrieving the file as download.

]]>On the first attempt, many images are imported and saved to the Media gallery and they are attached to the appropriate post as well which is a plus. But not all images are imported. I attempted to reimport the xml file but on several lines it says:

I am getting Timed out 60 seconds error in many php files and nothing is getting imported. Do I also need to install this plugin for importing website?

It sounds like a great tool. However after the import I only see the media, not the posts. I did export the post and while importing I did choose to download the attachments.
I also got an error. This is what my sites error-log shows:

I’m trying to import only one custom post type with 190 items, with their featured images. Exporting without your plugin is not giving me any problem on the export side (but yes importing).

]]>I badly needed this plugin to work but unfortunately it didn’t.
After installing, I did a full export without any options so that the export file was as complete as possible.
Next I imported to a clean fresh WP install and everything came including all media. Unfortunately none of the media re-attached themselves to the custom post that they used to be attached to ??
