I am using the Videoblog theme. I want to automatically put a menu on every post. I asked on the Videoblog support page and it was suggested that I use a menu plugin.
I am a WP newbie. Is this something I can easily do with “Different Menu in Different Pages”?
Thanks very much,
John

Hello,
I needed a different menu on the home page. So I created two menus, with the default one retained for all pages and using your plugin replaced the menu for just the home page. Now it works perfectly for the home page showing the replaced menu. If I access any of the other pages directly (via URL & not from the home page) it shows the default menu. These two scenarios work just fine.
The problem occurs once you visit the home page (wherein the menu gets replaced) and then click on any link that takes you to the other pages. Now instead of the default menu it is still showing the replaced menu. In other words, the menu has not reverted to the default state, and the replaced menu (which was only meant for home page) is shown everywhere. If I refresh the page, only then does the menu switch to the default.
Please help.
Thanks,
Archie
I am using a custom blog menu on all blog pages (using your plugin – thank you!). I am trying to figure out how to get that custom blog menu to display on the category pages, since there is no page to select the different menu on. I am very familiar with PHP so I have no problem going in and changing code. Just wondering if that’s what I need to do and where to look.

I would interpret this as as disregard of the rule statet in https://developer.www.ads-software.com/plugins/wordpress-org/detailed-plugin-guidelines/:
Trialware is not allowed in the directory.
Attempting to upsell the user on other products and features is acceptable within limits.
Upsell notifications should not be overly prominent or annoying.
Plugins may not contain functionality that is crippled or locked, only to be unlockable by payment or upgrade. Paid functionality must be part of an externally hosted service or a separate plugin, that is not hosted on www.ads-software.com.
Plugins may not disable included functionality after a trial period or quota.
Besides that, I retained from trying the plugin because of the negative reviews and the fact that the only answer of the author was to a person that explicitly stated he would be willing to pay…
]]>I have the latest WordPress and I am using the Shopkeeper theme by Getbowtied.
The plugin doesn’t work for me.
– I created a new location in the DuoGeek > Menu Manager screen
– I created a different menu to put on a specific page and marked the newly created location as its location in the Appearance > Menu screen
– I went to the specific page I want the menu at, chose the main menu from the Menu Manager’s first dropdown, and the new Menu location from the second dropdown, and hit save.
When I do this then save the page, the new menu disappears from the menu manager box and the page still shows the old menu. You should check your plugin’s compatibility with the newest wordpress.

Made a new location, made a new menu choose which menu to be overwritten in the post but instead the old menu is there with the new page added to it.
Please help. Thanks

]]>Hi there,
Firstly, thanks for building such a useful plugin. I would like to use it to have a different nav menu in the header for one of the woocommerce products. I know this would be possible on the premium version, yet for now, I am testing the free version on an arbitrary page. Unfortunately, however, I was not able to get it working. The problem I had was that the ‘Select New Menu’ dropdown box on the edit page is empty.
Once I can find a way to fix this and I have seen it works the way I would like, I will of course buy the premium version to unlock the possibility of using it on a custom post type (product).
Thank you for your time.

Laurence Pettitt
