Hi,
any settings in the Off-canvas Menu are not skipped. I get a popup saying “Something went wrong”. See the SCREENSHOT
Can you tell me why I can’t save the Off-canvas Menu?

I started using this plugin because another one I was using stopped working and wasn’t being updated. I really liked this one, and it appeared to work instantly. However, now it doesn’t… I am experiencing three issues with it:

• Every time I select a menu item to change and click a role (to add or remove visibility), the first click adds the avatar shortcode to the menu heading. I then have to manually delete it each time.
• When I select a combination of roles for the visibility of one menu item, that combination appears to be copied to every subsequent menu item (thankfully not to all, but when there are lots of menu items/submenu items below, it’s most irritating to have to change them all).
• Most annoyingly, the selections I am making appear to make no difference. I have three bespoke user types created by the Members plugin. I can select these types/roles to show or hide specific menu items, but the plugin just hides them all, sort of defeating the point of having it…

I’m on:
WP 6.6.2
DMiDP 2.4.3
php 8.1.30

Has anything changed recently that could be causing the third failure? (The first one was present when I first installed it.)

The plugin works perfectly for all the other menu locations of my site, but when I try to setup a menu from a plugin that I installed, it gives me the error: “Something went wrong !”

I am looking more info on this plugin, Does this plugin work for country specific menu items. I am looking for Hiding 1 page link from the menus for a particular region/country and keep everything same as is for other regions.

I have 120 pages on my wordpress installation (with the newest 6x version).
On the menu of the Plugin, I see a 2 and NEXT to the second page fo the selection. But there I become an error. Th link shows /page/2/ but this is not correct. This is not useful and correct.

No longer able to restrict content to only specific user types.

their is a serious bug in the interface that doesn’t allow to setup different menu in some cases.

Under different menu setup page (https://www.website.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=different-menus-in-different-pages), clicking on “Add different menu” and then on “Setup”, it oppens the popup window. Once that settings popup window is open, clicking on “Category”, the window shows a maximum of 28 categories, but their is a paginated menu that is supposed to show you the othe categories, and this is where their is an important issue:

Links on the paginated menu points to the wrong logation, actualy they points to https://www.website.com/page/1, https://www.website.com/page/2, https://www.website.com/page/3 and so on.

I’ve seen that someone wrote about this issue but had never recieved an answer, do you plan an update ?

If not I think I ll have to put the hands on the code to make it work

Is this plugin still being maintained? The repository page only shows compatibility to 5.7.5, and it has been quite a while since the last update.

Is there a way to auto-assign a menu to all posts in a custom post type? Currently, I have to do it manually each time I publish to that CPT

Im trying to assign the menu to a parent page and all of its children but when I do it applies it to other pages that have similiar titles and slugs. Is this fixable?

When setting up the pages to display different menus, the pagination does not work.
I have disabled plugins to check any conflicts and i’ve found none.
When using the pagination to click next or page 2, the page refreshes to show the home page, I am no longer in the back on the site.

It’s the right plugin I’ve been looking for.
But it doesn’t work in taxonomic -> products categories.
When I check product categories and save it, it says that the save was successful, but when I reopen it I see that noting checked!

So i used the plugin to make a menu appear on some specific product category pages but it doesn’t seem to cover the products within that category. Since it is not all products that i need to show this menu on, I would like to know if it is possible to make the menu cover the products within the specific category as well?

Hi. I’ve installed the plugin, added a new menu and added it in settings.
when I go to setup of that specific menu, select (let’s say a specific category) and hit save. it says saved successfully but doesn’t really show in the site. when I click on setup again I see that the selection I made was erased.
It does that with different kinds of selection (category/page/post/tax etc..)
Any idea? maybe a conflict with the template or another plugin?

When I go to setup with plugin to add second menu on selected pages, the new menu doesn’t show on any child pages until I go back into setup & select the child pages individually, even thought I selected parent & children first time.

when click on setup, shows only few pages in PAGE section

I want to assign different menus to 2 pages that have the same URL Slug, one is in a folder so the URLs look like this:
/cityname/air-conditioning
/air-conditioning

Plugin treats them as the same page. Whatever I assign to one, is assigned to the other.

Please help.

We’ve tried using the plugin to apply a different menu to two distinct sections of the site which works great if we apply them to an individual page, however we’ve also tried to apply this to a custom template.

The checkbox to apply the menu to the template is there can be saved successfully, however this is then applying the menu to every template on the site and not sure the template that has been selected.

Is these an issue with this functionality or are we applying this incorrectly?

I’ve set up a different menu for one page: https://artsjoco.org/acjc/shooting-stars-scholarships/ This page successfully loads the different menu. However, if I return to the Home Page next, the different menu is still there, not the default main menu. Am I missing something?

I use now Dynamic Menu Manager but it is not doing what I need and their support sucks.

What I need is the following:
I need to be able to put different menus on different pages.
Those different menus should be seen on desktop and mobile.

With Dynamic Menu Manager I have to choose for every page or category mobile or Primary.
So then I only have the different menu on desktop or on the mobile
But I need it on both devices.

So I tried your plugin but if I look in the settings it looks like yours will also not do what I need.

Because I see in the in the settings from “different menu conditions” in the tab “devices” only Android, mobile, Ipad and Tablet. I not see desktop.

I hope you understand what I try to say.

Hi, i’ve just installed this and I can’t believe that it now will not let me log into my WordPress install? As soon as I clicked network activate, the site told me I didn’t have the authority to do it and now the whole login page won’t let me in? I’m running the latest version of WordPress. For now and until the Developer replies, I would not recommend that you install this plugin.

Apparently this this pluggin is declaaring wp_mail, which is a bad practice that leads to conflicts with other plugins such as Postman (https://postmansmtp.com/ and https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/post-smtp/)

It may be the:

include_once(ABSPATH . 'wp-includes/pluggable.php');

found in class-different-menus-for-different-page-admin which might be causing bugs with multiple plugins that trying to redeclare function from there.

Could you fix this issue?
