Just installed the plugin, activated it but still when I insert breaks in Text view it removes it as soon as I change something in the Visual view. Are there any other settings I need to change to make it work? All I want to do is be able to insert either a soft return in Visual or
in Text view. Ta

This is working well for me.

I had to disable TinyMCE (on my user profile page) first, though, as TinyMCE would also insert line breaks (
), destroying my articles. That happened even if I started with the HTML tab selected and never even once switched to the Visual tab.

With TinyMCE disabled and this plugin added, I can manually place paragraph tags, break long HTML tags across multiple lines without them being destroyed and WordPress just stays out of my way.

Installed it, activated it, tried a new post, hit return, instead of generating a new line it generated a new paragraph.
