I run a site with coupon codes. Nothing’s more frustrating than finding a coupon that’s expired so I needed a plugin that would remove old codes & avoid irritating my visitors. DishSoap sounded like just the ticket so I tried it out. When the expiration date I set rolled around it expired the post right on time.
I also like that it doesn’t delete the posts, just removes them from public view. That way if I just need to do an update I don’t have to rewrite the entire post.
It’s incredibly easy to use and works perfectly.
Many thanks to the creator of this plugin!

Works well, adds a very simple expiry date option to your posts.
The only thing I would say to improve it would be to make the date/time selection a little clearer – eg. drop-downs selectors rather than text based, because it would just be a little simpler to input the expiry date. Also maybe call the block ‘Expire’ rather than ‘DishSoap’ as that is easier to explain to clients.
But overall a really nice plugin and would use again.
