I’m trying to understand how to use your plugin before I install it.

You say”Enter an ID in the “Name” field – the plugin uses the ID “display_links” as a default”

What ID are you talking about?

I can’t seem to get the field_id parameter to work. When I create the custom field and enter the default value for the field name, everything works correctly.

Custom Field Values:

Name: display_links Value: My Link Category

Page Text:

[links_by_cat]

I get a list of links.

If I change the custom field name and use

Custom Field Values:

Name: new_name Value: My Link Category

Page Text:

[links_by_cat field_id="new_name"]

=================================================
I get nothing.

My goal is to be able to have multiple link categories listed on the same page. Am I going about it the wrong way??
