This plugin has not been updated in 10 months and is no longer compatible with WordPress and causes an error. Please take the time to update the code so that it will work correctly again and not cause an error.

The latest version of this plugin (2.1.60) is not compatible with WordPress 6.5.

When it’s activated, it generates the following error :

And it totally put down the website. You need to deactivate this plugin to have the website back in a normal state.

Today I noticed that the “DMCA Protection Badge” plugin is breaking the google site kit.

“Site Kit cannot access the WordPress REST API” as an error. This is kind of interesting because I don’t understand how it could be related to the rest api.

I’m getting the same error on two websites.

I get the same error whenever I run any wordpress cli commands related to maintenance. ie

wp plugin update --all --path=/var/www/html --dry-run
ErrorException Message: Class 'Sidecar_Plugin_Base' not found

The same error happens if I run wp theme update ... or any other command

This plugin is a disaster. I have been waiting over eight months for a new version that installs properly. After messing around with the DMCA.org office, a case was raised, but actually nothing happens.

The current one installs with version “0.0” and then you get into an infinite loop where it keeps asking to be updated.

This was the behavior four months ago.

I have currently deactivated the plugin on all the sites where I installed it as IT SIMPLY DOES NOT WORK, and YOUR SUPPORT IS A TOTAL FAILURE!

I’m afraid to tell you that the plugin shows the 0.0 version.

This allows installation, but not updating or uninstalling. The plugin must be removed by FTP.

Recently the following stack trace recurs every night (Plesk) with the DMCA Plugin for each of the five sites I have using DMCA. Since I have five sites using DMCA this is pretty annoying.

I’m on the latest WordPress: 5.8.2
and the one of the latest PHP versions: 8.0.13.

Plesk attempts to update the DMCA plugin although is on version 2.0.13, which appears to be the latest version. I am on the latest version of WordPress (5.8.2). The plugin appears to be working otherwise.

It appears a PHP warning with Custom Post Types.

It seems that when the badge is activated through this checkbox:

DMCA Protection Badge → Settings → Select Post types? → Selected "Book" (A custom post type I'm using)

This message can be seen twice in frontend, with debug mode on.

When I activate the plugin on WP 5.7.2 it fails and says a fatal error has occured. No other information is provided.

The html code yields no image, either.

I installed the DMCA plugin today and now when I want to save a blog post, I get an error saying “Updating failed”. The post is still saved.
I tested everything and the cause is the plugin because if I disable it, everything works fine.

Hi, i put a DMCA badge on the bottom of my footer.php from the DMCA badge website.

When I click the badge it opens the certificate page. Is there any way to open the certificate in a new tab, as it is it overtakes the tab my website that users are browsing. thanks.
