I have used Limit Login Attempts Reloaded plugin since the very beginning of building my website and have had no problems. ]]>I enabled 2FA thinking it would send me an email to sign in. I didn’t see any other options for config and so figured config would happen at log-in. At the time, I was busy setting up many backend items.
I went to log in today and got this message. “Dologin Security: DoLogin Security: No phone number under this user”. When I log-in the attempts don’t go down as well.
I shouldn’t have been able to enable 2FA authentication using a phone number without a phone number listed. I don’t have any other users on WP.
Any ideas on what can be done or am I screwed?

I have setup your plugin and am happy with results.
Only thing is I am using the plugin mentioned above
- WP 2FA – Two-factor authentication for WordPress
as 2FA aswell… After adding your plugin …the login works great, with sms, but when it goes to the next step which is automatic after passing initial login and sms,

which is where the google or authy or wtv the customer chose as 2fa option is entered
and then can login, however the “Login” button does not submit? it does nothing.
Is there a way for this to work …it does redirect to next verification step page as it should after the login page but after entering the correct 2fa code (for 2fa plugin not yours) the “submit”/”login” button is just there with no action after pressing…which causing login to come to a hault.
to more clear:
Step 1 – client enters credentials – user and pass
Step 2 – V2 ReCaptcha checked and passed (from this plugin) then hit “Login”
Step 3 – SMS received ad entered for DoLogin sms validation – Then Hit “Login”
Step 4 – The Page is then refreshed with same URL (/wp-login) and that when the second 2Fa method of choice, here is when after entering code and hitting “Login” nothing happens…
I am sure it has to do with confusion either with the redirect over riding the dologin plugin wanting to go to actual site after validation of sms but it doesn’t and goes to the next step which is correct…just cant proceed … Please Help! would like to keep this setup.
