Any thoughts about how we can stop this?

I am using paypal donation plugin and my requirement is that I want my users to leave a note with their donation.

There is an option in the settings of the plugin as below:
“Prompt buyers to include a note with their payments”
I have checked that option but it does not appear on my donation page form. Can anyone guide where I will be able to see this note?

Is a business PP account required in order to use this module to take recurring PP donations?

If you click the Donate button on this page it takes you to PayPal. I need to be able to add a field so the donor can tell us what the donation is for. It used to be there way back when but now it’s not. I can’t find any place in the plug-in where I can add the note field. I know there’s code available on PayPal site but I want to keep using your plug-in because it sends out the personal email from us.

not sure if anyone can help. We created a donation page for a client and all of a sudden it’s not working. When someone fills out the form and clicks PayPal, it keeps circling and seems like it wants to go to PayPal and nothing happens

I have code showing that is for the colors on the progress bar.
I just have the basic short code in the text editor [donation_goal id=”96″]

The error appears to be happening due to an older version of PHP SDK being used to connect to Constant Contact.

In a separate development site, I have been able to use a different plugin for a PayPal donation button, and it does not have any conflicts with the Constant Contact Form. However, I like your plugin better, because of the convenient list of donations available from within the WordPress admin pages.

Therefore, hoping that it can’t hurt to ask…. could you please look into this problem to see if it is possible to update your version of the SDK, and then maybe I would be able to use both of these plugin tools together??

We haven’t update any setting in WordPress admin but some record did not show after the payment complete. I can find the record in PayPal official website but not in the Page “Donation List” in WordPress Admin page.

The latest record in “Donation List” is on Aug 07, 2018, and latest records in Paypal Official website is on Today. We

I didn’t see a resolution on this but some mobile devices are taking the donate links, straight to the PayPal Home page as apposed to the “Dontation” interface.

We have various admins for the web site and every time somebody makes a donation everyone get a notification email. Is it not possible to select who gets the emails so the rest don’t get duplicates? One of our admins is the web developer and we don’t want them seeing what cash is coming in.

Will be nice to have an option to simply show amount collected for example in 12 month.

The Goal need to have a desired amount, I want show to visitor only donation received in a certain period from date to date.

I AM sorry to see no replies on this forum hope this plug-in still be supported with time.

Hello, I would like to have a confirmation email sent out once the person finishes his/her donation, but I have no clue how to proceed. Also, I donated via the button I created, but my donation does not appear in the list?

I am getting this message from PayPal:

Donate button works great on desktop but some mobile users get sent to PayPal Home page instead of the Donation page. Works correctly on our devices (2 iPhones and an old iPad) does not on the client’s (2 iPhones and a new iPad). All are running Safari 10 except the old iPad which is 7.

How to create monthly donation option.I’m put my paypal mail id into Merchant Account ID input box. When i click donation button then will redirect to me paypal donation page. But there no option to make it monthly, Like this image Monthly donation option. Now How i make it monthly ?????

Right after installing the Donation Button plugin, we noticed we were no longer able to enter or edit text in text fields that are part of theme elements in the Enfold theme from Kreisi (version 3.8.4 latest).

If we press letter keys on the keyboard, no text appears in theme element text fields. Only numbers and the period key (including >, which is shift-period) result in characters being displayed in theme element text fields. Also, we cannot copy/paste any text in theme element text fields. But if we disable the Donation Button plugin, text entry/editing works fine in the Enfold theme elements again.

Donation Button solves a problem for us, so I would love to use it if this might be an issue that could be addressed in a future update. Thank you for a very helpful plugin and for considering this issue!

The successful payment email is only sending when I’m using my sandbox account. As soon as I switch it to the real PayPal account I don’t receive anything when donating?

I am trying to set up a sandbox to see how the Donate button might work on our website (cincinnatifriends.org/wp). However, I can’t seem to get past the first page. I can’t log in using either the actual PayPal account or the personal or business accounts that I set up on the PayPal development site/sandbox.

I’m also concerned about the email account that appears on the page, which is that of our treasurer (who created the PayPal account). Is that how the page will look to individuals making a donation? I would prefer not to expose our treasurer’s email address in that way; it seems like the donation is being made to an individual rather than to our organization.

I tried reading through the PayPal documentation, but didn’t find it very helpful. Any suggestions on what I need to do to test the Donate button?

When editing a post on WP the area with the content goes blank. The info is there but you cannot see it. There is a Java error with the donation showing.

Hi, it seems that the plugin doesn’t work properly on mobile devices.
When clicking on the button, the first time the user gets send to the paypal homepage, not to the donation details page.
When I click on the button the second time, it works correctly.
On desktop it works perfectly.

The automated email that I created for the Donation Button with Auto Resppnder Plug-in by MBJ- Web Development was initially working fine. It no longer is sending the auto email. I have reentered the email info in the email settings of the plugin, and saved it again, but it’s still not working. Do you have other suggestions why this is no longer sending the email and what I should do to get this working again? Shouldn’t the email be sent each time the same person makes a donation, or is it just once?

Love the plugin and everything is working GREAT…except for a border that keeps appearing around the custom donation image. I’ve tried everything (CSS/Php) and nothing seems to work. Any ideas? If I edit the CSS for form input, then all of the borders of my form disappears. ??

I just installed this plugin and added “[paypal_donation_button]” to my sidebar.php file (without the double quotes), but it just shows up as-is on the page when it get’s rendered.

How do I add the donation button to my sidebar.php? I am using WordPress 4.6.1

I have the donation list hooked up to a clients website, where I am using the Donation Button, I have 2 transactions on my dashboard that are “Pending” and so aren’t in my PayPal account linked to my website (gcfalpinetx.org). But the money has left the Donor’s PayPal account.
