Hi, Is this plugin PHP 8.3 Compatible?
Thank you!
Hello
I was wondering if there was a shortcode to show the donation field, instead of having to display it as a “product”.
Also, where can I cange the word “Donate” to “Pay” for example? Thank you!
Hi,
Thank you for this simple but very useful plugin, would it be possible for you to add the following into the PO file which we can translate into different language?
Amount: in the

Donate

Hello,
Do you know when this will be fixed?

Hello,
The plugin is pulling up shipping at checkout – how can I avoid this? I want people to be able to donate without having to put shipping.
On donate product page backend it shows downlable rather than virtual – is there a way to make this a virtual product in order to avoid the shipping issue? Or is there another way please?
Thank you
Hello! Hope you are well.
We have this notice : Deprecated: Creation of dynamic property WC_Product_Donation::$product_type is deprecated in /home/vikingrchronicle/public_html/wp-content/plugins/donations-for-woocommerce/donations-for-woocommerce.php on line 132
We use PHP 8.2, all is up to date. Litespeed server.
Hi there,
This is a fabulous plugin, thanks so much for releasing this! There is an option to make the donation product downloadable but not to make it virtual, thus the order will be marked as processing when the payment has been completed. How can we autocomplete the order?
Best regards,
Nella
I’m working on a development site to replace an old site. I’m trying your Potent Donations for WooCommerce. I have WordPress 6.4.2 installed with Kadence theme. If I try to add your donation product to a page using the Woo shortcode or products block, the donation amount field does not display. The area is blank. Only the product image, product name and Donate button display. On the empty cart – newest products at the bottom, main shopping page and product category page the amount field also does not display. If you press Donate it either takes you to the single product page in some cases, or adds the default amount to your shopping cart. The only way I can show the amount field on another page is to embed the entire product page, but I can’t figure out how to solve the amount field not showing in the other instances?
What does the Checkout setting ‘Disable donation amount field in cart’ do? I can’t seem to see any change when it is checked or not checked? I thought maybe it allowed the donation amount to be changed in the cart or checkout though you appear to say that cannot be done.
No matter what I do, the donation amount is $15. I can change the default amount but nothing seems to matter. It still says $15 for donation.
Hello,
I’ve added the plug in and it works great. The only downside is the font size in the quantity column for the donation doesnt match the rest of the cart. See the screenshot HERE
Any ideas how I could edit this font size or remove the quantity listing for this single product? (open to code snippest)
Thanks!
Hi,
I have created a product for a donation. It exisists as a single product,
https://ivandakar.com/supporters/aporta-a-la-aventura/
and can be added to the shopping cart just fine.
However, why does it not appear on the woocommerce shop page?
Thanks!
Hi, Is it possible to make the Dontion amout editable in the checkout process? Or to make it at least link to the product again if they want to edit the amount?
Thanks

Hi,
Does this plugin collect any personal information? I need to know if I need to list it in the privacy policy along with any details about what info it collects.
Thank you!
Hi,
nice plugin.
It will be greater, if it would be possible to create specific links with desired amounts as a parameter.
For example: mysite.com/shop/donation?d_amount=15
Obviously if there is no d_amount
parameter in the link, it should use the default value.
Thank you.
update: I remade the page, but fyi your button went missing i had to recreate a new donations product. not sure why it went missing ??
Hi there, the donate button is missing. it was there 1 week ago and now it is not please help urgently.
Thank you
Hi, First thanks for your simple free great plugin for our poor organization !
For stimulate our donators it should be nice to show the limit date (if), the targeting and a graphical evolution of the amount of donation…
More parameters in the back office should be apreciate.
Best regard
Hi there,
It would be great to be able to specify the wanted amount of donation for each product, So I can display the remaining amount of donation.
It was working fine for months, but now, when adding the product with default donation abount, You can’t reset amount to $0 in cart. You can only can lower to $1, not $0. Adding from the product page with $0 results in default amount of $10 in the shopping cart. Adding with other amounts show correct amounts. Please advise. It was working fine before and 0 was allowed.
hi does this plugin only work on Woocommerce pages or could I also use it on regular member pages on a BuddyPress social communit website?
If the answer is yes, is it possible then to use the plugin for multiple users as receivers or can only 1 person receive donations?
Hi there, is there any way to add product attribute to products using this donation plugin?
I have a client asking for a generic button where we can allow the donor to tell us where they would like the donation to go.
My client recently discover that the add amount field is no longer seem (see the
link) can you help me?
Hi There,
I am using this plugin for tips instead of donations. Can you send me the code I can use in my function.php file to edit the text in the button?
Thanks
thank for this plugin.
The plugin removes tabs from the Product Data box, leaving “General”, “Advanced” and “Get More Options”
I use a plugin “Woo Custom Emails Per Product” which usually adds an option named “Custom Emails”.
Is there a way to let this plugin display in the Product Data?
thanks
Hi – I really like the ease of using this plugin. I had a few requests from a client on this, most of which I’m guessing aren’t really doable. But I’m obliged to ask:
– Can the 0s after the decimal be removed. I had numbers after the decimal set to 0 in the standard woo settings but these are still showing up. I have the price set to go up in $1 increments with no decimal.
– Any css to move the arrows from overlapping the last number on the price in firefox?
– Client grandiosely thinks people will donate a lot through this form and wants the number field to show a standard field that $10k can be added to. Any way to increase the dollar field (without making $10k the defacto price)? I’m assuming not but had to ask.
Thanks again for a terrific plugin.
Hi. Awesome plugin. Want to ask you if there is a way to implement amount field between text and add to cart button. An example is here
Thanks
Hello,
Will you tell me is Potent Donations for WooCommerce GDPR Compliant?
And it seems that it integrates with the WooCommerce cart which then will go through a payment gateway so I don’t need to worry about PCI compliance with this either is that right?
Thank you!
Hi, thanks for the nice plugin!
I can’t change the donation amount on the customer-facing form: my minimum is 5, and the increments are 2.50. However, neither increasing the amount with arrows, nor entering the amount manually in the box seem to work. On the product page the values are displayed correctly, but on the checkout page it still only shows the minimum (5).
I’d be grateful for your help.
