For some reason the downloading function doesnt work. I can enter an email adres and than it looks like its processing, but it stays that way. No emails are sent. If you push the send button again, it says you already downloaded it. I tried with multiple email adresses.
How can i fix this?

Customer can’t download it.

Is there a way I can completely deactivate your styles and just write my own CSS styles? I tried customizing it in the editor but fount there are certain styles the plugin applies that I struggle to overwrite.

Hi, we can’t send multiple links to the same email address. And more precisely, on the same web page we have several downloads that the user can download, but by entering an email address, the user can complete the procedure only once. In the settings we have put limit links: unlimited and unlimited emails: we have left the checkmarked. Thanks for the help.

I would like to track how many times a form has been submitted with Google Analytics (GA4).
I have managed to do this for the contact form on the contact page, but I also want to track the forms created by this plugin.
For the “standard” contact form I found some PHP code to add to the functions.php in the child theme.
Does someone know if this is also possible for the Download after Email forms? The key is to add a form ID to the submit button.

I click on the link sent in the email, and I receive the following error message: “Check your internet connection” with the option to resume the download. When I click to resume, the download proceeds normally. This problem occurs every time, regardless of the file and the user.

]]>In the mails sent by the plugin containing the download links, any image within is broken. I have inspected the email and this is what I see:

As you can see, the src attribute is missing.
When I check PostMan logs, this is what I see
SOLUTION – Changing the Mailer type inside PostMan’s settings to PHPMailer resolved the issue.
I still posted this so if someone else has this issue, they can try what worked for me.

Unfortunately since a few weeks I have more and more issues with some mailproviders, that they reject my newsletter due to local policy issues.
I have contacted those providers and they mentioned SPF/DKIM issues with my mail. So I contacted my hoster to verify my SPF/DKIM settings.
From them I got the information, that the mails, the plugins sends, is missing the “envelope-from” header. So there is a default value put from my mailprovider which causes the error on the receiver side.
Can you give me a hint how I can add this “envelope-from” header in the mails from the plugin?

I installed the plugin and set up a test piece of content (a PDF) for download. Everything seemed to go smoothly. The shortcode worked and I saw the “enter email to download” option on the web page. I entered an email address and received an email with the download link.
The link appeared to be correctly formatted:

I clicked the link, the homepage loaded…and absolutely nothing happened. No download starts.
I’m running the latest WordPress. I tried disabling all plugins and turning on WP Debug, but it made no difference. There are no errors that I can see and clearly it’s not a plugin conflict. I’m using a pagebuilder plugin (Seedprod), but when I disabled all plugins the site reverted to the Twenty Twenty Two template, so it’s not a template issue.
The only thing I see in the inspect console is a warning about mixed content:

Because of the security we are limiting access to /wp-admin directory only to some IP’s.
But your great plugin is using /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php and is blocked with this restriction.
Is there a way to use this plugin but without access to /wp-admin/*

“Please make sure all fields are filled in correctly.”
Ive disabled the plugin and then enabled it again, readded the files to each form with no luck.

Hi we have a multilingual site (EN, DE, IT).
For the English and Italian (Home – Gfluid) part the plugin works correctly, but if the users try to download a file in the German part (Home De – Gfluid) the action “dae_send_downloadlink” return -1. The only thing I saw that is different is the “_ajax_nonce” inside the payload of the function that for Italian and English part is the same (and the download works) and for the German part is different (and the download doesn’t work).
How can we fix the problem? We have Divi as theme builder and Polylang as plugin for multilingual.

]]>Hi, I’m on WordPress v. 6.1.1 and things appear to be broken. I tried entering one of my own email addresses to receive a download link, but no email arrived. I also noticed that when I go into the Media Library and copy the File URL for the PDF I’m offering as a download and enter it into my browser, the PDF does not show up. I get a 404 Page Not Found. This is the case for all PDFs I have uploaded.

I hope you can help me with the problem because have been fiddling with it for a long time but can’t figure out what the error is.
