Is this another dead horse?

It is not working at all with EDD. After installing the plugin I got 2 Admin>Download menus. 1 is WP downloads (i think) second is EDD downloads. So how does this plugin supposed to work?

I’m not sure if there is in fact an issue with running DM and EDD but when I saw this plugin decided I should use it. Once it was installed there was a PHP error and I don’t know how to fix. Unfortunately I didn’t capture the exact error. I know it was a missing _____ that the code expected to find. I deleted said plugin, but had to do it through the Cpanel.

So two queries

1) do I need it – where/how is there conflict?
2) If I ran the experiment again would you want to see the error?

I’m doing some troubleshooting for a slow backend and the WP Health plugin is saying this:

Download Monitor – EDD Compatibility has not been updated in over two years which indicates that it is no longer supported by the developer. There could be security issues that will not be fixed! Please reach out to the developers to ensure this is still supported or look for alternatives and uninstall this plugin.

It seems like it still works fine. Could you do a check and update the version?
