Hello,
The plugin is great however it drastically increased my INP score. I had 1300 urls that became “poor” according to google. This happened after I activated the plugin. The INP score sees how long it takes users to interact with menus and other elements. I tested this via chrome dev tools today and even in my own personal experience whenever I clicked on the button to switch from dark to light, it would take about half a second (which for Google is too long).
I hope you can fix this issue and I will reactivate the plugin. I think this feedback will make the plugin better. I am not leaving a bad review because I want to be helpful. If you can fix this issue I can give you guys a 5/5 because as I said the plugin, as far its purpose goes, is very good!
Take care!
]]>Dear Dracula team,
I love your plugin, and it has worked perfectly so far. However, I’ve recently noticed that the plugin behaves incorrectly on certain operating systems and browsers.
On my newer system (Mac OSX Sonoma), it works flawlessly in all the browsers I use (Firefox, Safari, DuckDuckGo, Chrome). However, on my older laptop (Mac OSX Big Sur), the dark mode doesn’t work properly in the latest version of the DuckDuckGo browser (toggle button disappears, some elements are missing, images don’t load, etc.). On the same Big Sur system, the dark mode displays perfectly in all other browsers.
I understand that not many people use DuckDuckGo on older systems, but this issue is still quite frustrating for me, and I would be really happy if there was a solution.
I’ve recorded a short video showing the issue on my Big Sur laptop, comparing the correct appearance (in Firefox) with the incorrect one (in DuckDuckGo). I’m not a programmer, but I also inspected the page in DuckDuckGo to check the console for errors. This is also visible in the video: https://youtu.be/62Y8yo4LU_I?si=8Xr-sxP2cbt1NnaQ
Thank you for your help!
]]>Hello,
I’m trying to set a custom color scheme for dark mode. I’ve attempted this multiple times, and while it initially works when adjusting values with your live feature, it eventually stops working. Instead, it generates incorrect values that seem completely off, almost as if it’s reverting to a light mode version.
This is very buggy—please help! I have paid for the PRO version.
Thank you.
]]>Hello,
I’m using the following PHP code to display the toggle in a custom theme file:
<?php
if (function_exists('is_plugin_active') && is_plugin_active('dracula-dark-mode/plugin.php')) {
echo do_shortcode('[darcula_toggle]');
}?>
But on the font end, only plain text appears instead of the expected toggle: https://prnt.sc/ZmkLWqoS-R8z
Is there an alternative method or code I can use with the free version of your plugin?
Thank you
Daniel
]]>Hi, this plugin seems has been improved with time but still see an issue that I need to fix.
I set the plugin to follow operative system theme.
Now if you open the website on incognito browser mode and then use the developer console to simulate a dark mode operative system theme then a light mode you will see no issues.
If you set the dark mode from the developer console you should see the dark theme correctly activated but with the toggle button with bad graphics. If you also navigate in a different page seems a cookie is created by your plugin setting the dark mode forever. If you switch in the browser console to the light mode again the website will remain in the dark mode.
I hope in a fix as soon as possible. Thank you!
I suggest also to add a z-index selector in the settings to avoid theme issues. I need create a custom theme rule to reduce to 99 the z-index of the toggle.
I never check if the same issues happen on the admin backend side. I tested only on front end.
For now as your plugin is forcing the dark or the light mode, not respecting the operative system theme I have to evaluate to install a different darkmode solution… if I can find it.
Please if you made a fix let me know, I will maybe test again and return to your plugin.
]]>Hello,
Thank you very much for solve the problem ??
By the way, I’m very excited about your plugin because I’ve tried about 14 dark mode plugins today (I’m switching from the WP Dark Mode plugin, which I’m no longer happy with due to its frequent errors after updates) and yours suits me the most ??
Sincerely
Dominik Kozmáli
]]>Hi, I’m testing your great plugin, it seem to work smooth and clean, the only problem I come across is when dark mode is on the mobile hamburger Menu remain pretty dark hard to find …
If I didn’t do any error on my settings
is there a workaround to make it to turn lighter ?
Thanks
Mark
Like, I’m using a theme builder and I have my own image that I’d like to use so that it triggers the darkmode when people click on it.
I tried adding a “dracula-toggle-wrap” css class to it, but it just transforms my image into a regular Dracula toggle button, and I can’t find a way around it in the doc.
Please let me know if I’m not seeing something here, thanks !
How can I add this plugin without interfering with my background image? I added the background image with CSS specifically on the cart and checkout pages, but the plugin completely ignores it and turns the background into a solid color.

Hello, I’m trying to get the best out of my Google Insight rating but I get this accessibility error about the dark mode switch not having an aria attribute.
I can’t seem to track down where the code is to add one by myself, can you help me?
]]>Hello,
I’ve uninstalled this plugin, but some empty database tables are still there, specifically dracula_analytics, dracula_toggle, and dracula_feedbacks. Again, these tables look empty, so my question it, is it safe to remove them? Thanks!
]]>Hello,
I installed the pro version and it works perfectly.
Only when I load or refresh a page the white page is briefly displayed for 1 sec and then the dark version.
I’ve already looked in the settings but can’t find anything that fixes this.
Please help

The plugin does not show a toggle button in the header menu. It works for the mobile menu but not for the desktop menu.
Thank you.
]]>Hello,
I have submitted a support ticket a week ago at your website Softlabbd, but haven’t got a reply. Can you please respond since I paid for this plugin and encountering a critical bug.
]]>Really liking the plugin and have purchased the PRO version. I do have a quick question though…
With the toggle buttons, it seems there is only options for “Light” / “Dark” mode. I’d love to see a third option of “Auto” that the user can choose to use the OS current theme.
I know there is an option in the settings to turn this on but I’d like to be able to give our users the freedom to choose.
Is this possible?
]]>I’m testing this cool plugin and loving it so far! There were a few bugs but the most pressing one is that with the toggle activated for the menu (and not as floating), it shows everywhere except for the post type (all blogs of the website). There is no such exception set in the settings. Thank you!
]]>I just discovered that two of my sites running this plugin will not load in the Google Chrome browser.

]]>I removed the dracula dark mode plugin because it was bothering me about the site but now doing a check up I find that it left a lot of references to js that no longer exist but which are preventing a good pagerank, how can I remove every reference even on the php of the my page?
]]>Thank you as always for the wonderful plugin. I’ve identified an issue stemming from this plugin. It appears to be a recurring problem across all versions. There’s an excessive load of resources being loaded, causing strain on the server.
At least 20 scripts are being loaded, seemingly related to Gutenberg. I believe these scripts are intended for use in page customization. In addition to trimming unnecessary scripts, I also suggest reconsidering their necessity for being no-cache.
Looking forward to improvements.
]]>Hi, I have no idea why I see two different darkmodes during website loading. First one is default I think, I use my custom darkmode, when I go to any page I see default dark mode and after that is loaded my custom. Cache were flushed everywhere. There was absolutely no speed improvement after update, should say that I feel it opposite. And your Live mode builder is incredibly slow.
